I think there are many of us. It's a weird cross-over. I wonder if them doing a hard rock song (Zombie) got people's attention, or this is some common thread that I don't understand.

I knew I'd miss the 90's even before they were gone. Something about that decade is just special. Perfect balance of information and technology with an understanding of nature and spirituality. And the music was incredible, for the most part. There were (as there always will be) some crap from back then as well, but all in all it's was a great decade for human enlightenment.

Her backing vocals are amazing. No one uses their backing harmonies and vocals like the cranberries. Every song is amazing. Been into them sense the 90s. That whole album is great. Another to look at is Animal Instinct. Gives a different feel.

I love this song! About 5 days ago I watched a reaction of Linger and the song just hooked me and I can't stop listening to it. This was the first song that Dolores ever wrote. When she joined the band, they gave her a tape of an instrumental and she went home and wrote the lyrics and added the melody. As they say, the rest is history.

If you haven’t already, you should react to Concrete Blonde. Different sound but phenomenal female lead, Johnette Napolitano. God Is A Bullet, Heal It Up, Bloodletting. Around the same time that this song came out a song by Natalie Imbruglia called Torn came out they were playing them back to back over and over on the radio. My intro to punk rock was a band called Joy Division my favorite song that they did was called the Epileptic Dance, that was late 70's.

This song is for me a "madeleine de Proust" (something that remember you a moment in your past). I get their album Stars for my birthday in what, 2002 probably, alongside The Elder Scrolls III Morrowind. And I play this game with the Cranberries in album. That's why, everytime I heard Dolores' voice I remember me wandering in Vvardenfell instead of doing my homework. I was so happy to see the band in concert 10 years ago!
