Yes. "Poisoning our air". Why wouldn't Jinx say our? She was talking about what Caitlyn did by releasing the grey into the Undercity to mask their tactical raids. That shit kills people. You saw all of the diseases and body degradation in those microfiche files in her mom's study, right? That's what Jinx was referring to. So, saying "poisoning my air" wouldn't make any sense contextually when it affected large portions of Zaun. And what do you mean "who is Vi talking about"? She's talking about Isha. Violet was already punching downward when Isha jumped up on that alter to save Jinx. She's not talking about her maniac sister. She's talking about the little girl that Caitlyn was willing to kill in order to get Jinx. Make no mistake, watch it again. Vi was 1 second away from smashing her sister's head like a melon. Both of them had resigned themselves to what was about to happen. And Jinx DID want that (in reference to Sevika releasing the grey), but she wanted to be dead when it happened. She's been trying to get herself killed for a while now. It's kind of the theme of the season with her.

The song that plays during the Jinx vs Vi fight is just incredible, and the fact that the choir/chants in it is a prayer to the wind goddess!! Everything this episode was so related to the gray

Jinx wanted to die in her fight with Vi. She led them to a temple, decorated with images from her childhood, for their final fight. When Seveka set off the gas explosions, Jinx scream that's not how it was supposed to go. Jinx set this up as her funeral and the gas explosions were supposed to be a colorful send off for her after she died.

Ambessa's motivations were established in season 1. She's at war with the people who murdered her son, the Black Rose, but she needs hextech weaponry to win. To get hextech weaponry she needs Piltover and Zaun to be at war, so she's doing everything she can to make sure they are. She told Mel she'd set the world ablaze to protect the family.

That scene where Jayce's story with the Wild Rune smashes into Vi and Jinx's story, and all their Hextech starts malfunctioning, is peak media. The way it was edited was so damn good. My jaw dropped when all their weapons started glitching tf out, I thought the world was unravelling or some shit. I think my favourite part is when Cait tackles Sevika and presses her gun against her, with lightning crackling between them, and frying Sevika as she screams. That was SO IMPACTFUL!! And the music was absolutely perfect, one of the best tracks in the show. I get chills every time I watch it, especially when Jayce says "What have we done?".

The "runes" Rictus is using, is item called Kaernic Rookern. Its funny that its tank item in the game but made look like this in show ^^ Even the description of the item is accurate to Noxus. "Destiny is shaped through cunning, sweat, and steel. Magic violates this principle no longer."

I will say, as much as I personally enjoyed this season, the pacing was the only thing that felt jarring. They should’ve extended this story into another season.

Yeah that's what I've been saying. The episode where Isha died could have easily been the finale. And it would have made so much sense to open season 3 with that Ekko and Powder episode. The last three episodes could have easily been devided into 6 (or more) eps with a better pacing

I LOVE that deep down Vi didn't really want to kill Jinx. I think she used Isha as an excuse. Personally, Cait is so WRONG to ask so much of Vi. At the end of the day, Jinx is still her sister and Cait isn't the only one who has lost ppl. It doesn't mean she gets to kill Jinx. I REALLY disliked Cait at the start of the season but ended up loving her at the end.

Exactly, also Vi was very wishy washy. Before the fight she said "take the shot whenever you have an opening" and when Caitlyn finally got an opening (throught the whole show we saw how perfect her aim is and that she always hits her bullets where she wants them to hot) Vi stopped her because of Isha. At the end when Caitlyn hit her in the stomach she knew that Vi is her soft spot and that she makes her weaker and at that moment she was still in her anger/rage prime so she was still lusting for revenge "justice". Honestly this scene alone makes me want to talk for ages because of how good the writting is, every detail is important to every character's development and their actions.

@@xxlCortez but she wasnt aiming for her head lol. That shot wasnt supposed to be lethal to kill her. You can see that after she shot her finger off she put down her gun because. Jinx was in shock that her finger was gone so Vi got in control of their fight and strapped her down to the ground with her gauntlets. Caitlyn raised her gun only after Isha pointed a gun at Vi. Bro your personal emotions towards Cait are cockblocking you from actually disecting and understanding whats happening during the fight.

The truth is that these three episodes I was very afraid for Caytlin, I felt that we lost her, Vi and Jinx enter into a maelstrom of mutual destruction that is fueled by their presence and not for nothing does Vi know that Jinx has destroyed the life of the only person good person who has met and given his hand, who has helped him try to get his sister back and he loses everything and his only sin was falling in love with Vi. Caytlin is seeing everything in black and white, but Vi can add color to her life however there is a wall between them and her name is Jinx. Ambessa takes advantage of Caytlin's pain and fury but when they called her name she hesitated, there is no doubt that she can't get out anymore, it's an alley and she can't get out, without Jayce, Mel or Vi Caytlin is trapped in that position, becoming the worst version of herself. There are some parallels with Jinx in the first season but everything will depend on Vi. "You never want to know the fury of the calm and kind," Kratos told his son. Vi don't cry for the hit, she cry because who get that hit and feel sadness his fear are become true, feel how Powder fell in ep3. Alone again she don't anger with Caytlin she loved and that hurt more. If somenoe tell "Vi don't love Caytlin anymore" please still looking the show.

Y'know, what I realized on my 3rd time watching this episode?...Jinx was shooting that rocket at Vi pretty freaking close...I know she's been suicidal before, but I genuinely think she was trying to take both Vi and herself here. 💙 ❤️ 💜

It's interesting to me that just 3 episodes ago we saw a child die as a result of Vi's quest for vengeance against Silco, and back then she argued that they had no other choice and that in the long run they were saving hundreds more kids from becoming his victims, but now that Silco is dead and things are worse than ever, both for the city and for Vi personally, she doesn't want Cait to go through the same thing and have that blood on her hands Also, is it just me or does how Cait treats Vi at the end remind anybody else of Ambessa's exchange with Mel last season? "Why? Why did you do it?" "Because you weakened me! I couldn't endure the look in your eyes whenever I made the decisions- the NECESSARY decisions-to keep us safe!" This whole season, Vi has been the only person Caitlyn can be vulnerable and emotional with, and now... now she can't afford to be vulnerable if she's going to keep the city safe. Enforcers protect the people of Piltover, that's the first lesson Cait learned from Grayson. That's what they're shooting for, and both times she's had a gun trained on Jinx, Vi has been the one who has stopped her from taking the shot. So now Cait thinks that for the sake of the city and justice for her mother she needs to leave Vi behind and be sure that she won't ever follow, and... what better way to do that than to act just like the awful enforcers who made Vi reluctant to put on the badge in the first place?
