Don’t know that they meant for him to lead all 6 but it’s definitely easier when you rotate who leads. During xc I had 2 teammates I’d rotate leading reps with sometimes even trading off mid-rep for longer stuff. Now we do different workouts though since they both drop down to shorter distances during track and running track workouts solo sometimes suck

Our school record is 15:56 from a kid last year who took it significantly more seriously than anyone had and he sort of inspired everyone else to work harder. Next year we will probably have three guys in the 16's. Ehich is pretty good for a tiny private school.

did this workout my self, super difficult. it is really good though to bring down you times and build up your strength in the 1600m, 800m, and maybe even 400m. Right now I'm in middle school trying to break 5 in the mile before track season, 5:18 at the moment, and I think this workout will really help, thanks. Also fantastic video and soundtrack!

Hey, I know you guys probably won't see this. I'm in 8th grade, really haven't approached running. I've always wanted to get better. I'm just starting and looking for some tips. Currently, my times are: 400m - 1:05 1 Mile: 5:45 2 Mile: 12:40 5k: Unknown Goals are: 400m - 1:10 1 Mile: 5:20 2 Mile: 11:00 5k: 19:00 or below I still have a couple months, but I want to start early! Thanks for providing amazing content, and good luck during your races! Weight + Height: 5'8 122lbs, fairly skinny upper body + muscular legs

1. Eat lots of food 2. Sleep 9 hours everyday 3. Drink close to a gallon of water daily 4. Go to your local gym and make a workout routine of upper body workout days and leg days 5. Be consistent with your training 6. Make sure you get fast track workout days ex. 12 by 400m repeats 90 second rest. Based on your prs you should try to get under 1:35 for each one

Like anything you just gotta work harder. That means take sleep and recovery very seriously. Also increase your mileage and maybe start doing more intense workouts.

I dont think so, I dont follow a specific diet, i merely try to take in good things. try not have too much bad food, keep things simple and make sure you eat plenty. also dont strip yourself of foods that make you happy.

We almost solely run in nike, however we have run in other brands over the years and tried other models. We just find the best results for our feet in nike. But many other brands have awesome shoes that work great. We always love trying new shoes.

Depends on the athlete, some jogged around a little, some got water. We all threw on some extra clothes to stay warm. In general we just tried to stay loose and stay warm.

It really just depends, personally I think the victories feel more aggressive, and faster but they are less reliable and sometimes make my planar flare up. id consider using them for a mile race though.
