2 important things: First, see if you can journal every day for a week by going to dayoneapp.com/wheezy and using code wheezy to get a limited-time offer of a two-month free trial with Day One Journal Premium. Secondly, did my last yoga session give you magic powers? What kind of powers? How are you using them?

The issue is coffee. I have a watch that keeps track of the quality of sleep and I stopped coffee from 3 to 6 cups a day to 0 and my sleep quality improved a lot. I now am trying to figure out how I can drink some coffee in the morning again which worked for a bit till I started to drink too much again 😅 habbits are hard and coffee is great but yh the result was clearly there when I did it.

I pay for Premium so I don't see ads. It irritates me no end when content creators pitch products they don't even use, just so they can make a buck. To me, it's a form of prostitution. However, I'm not mad when a content creator does basically an informercial showing themselves USING the product, often that they pay for themselves without sponsors sending them stuff to pitch. This is kind of like that, except that Adriene will probably never pay Greg. Craig. Whatever his name is.

I knew you would love her 20 minute one. I’ve done all of Adriene’s bedtime videos and the 20 minute one is the best. I’ve added in few stretches that my physiotherapist recommended and I end with my legs up the wall instead of laying flat because of my jumpy legs. I do it every night and have done for several years now. I have her entire script memorized. Keep it up Craig!

The thing Yoga with Adrienne always says is the hardest part is showing up and I think you showed yourself that on the last day when you were halfway through and you were rethinking doing it every night. I was on a big YWA kick the past few years off/on but fell off after once a day in January (probably at a time when I needed it the most but was feeling gross mentally and discouraged by my strength progress). I really need to get back into it again.

So, a not so fun fact: funky anatomy can cause sleep apnea. You can be skinny af and still have sleep apnea just due to the way your shit is arranged. Maybe a sleep study isn't the worst idea? Just a gentle suggestion.

Her music is calming and I love that she sometimes incorporates intention cards and other mental health tools into her practice.

I dunno if you'll read this, but as a fellow wake-up-in-the-middle-of-the-night-and-cant-get-back-to-sleep person, I found the best thing for me was cuddling another person. Something about the loving physical connection made me feel so comfortable and safe, and I just drifted right to sleep. I dunno what yours and Chyna's vibe is, but might be something worth trying.

Please try yoga nidra (or NSDR)! 🤣 It is a guided meditation that mirrors the natural process of sleep. The multiple rounds of body scans in yoga nidra activate localized delta brainwave activity, which is something unlike most asana (the physical poses Adrienne guides) or other meditation techniques. Yoga Nidra helps heal and restore regular sleep in its totality. Please practice for 30 minutes a day for 30 days, and you will have much better and deeper sleep, and fewer nighttime awakenings.

Yoga with Bird and Adrienne are my favorites, I've been doing them off and on for about five years. I don't notice the difference in tone with Bird, you might try a different one and see. Bird is mostly very relaxing and restorative - great for working out the kinks when I'm just out of bed or if I'm low on energy or not feeling well. I love most of your videos, but do you know what I'd really love? Seeing you challenge yourself to keep up one thing for a year. I know you've done the social media thing, and you run every day, I think. Great! But I'd love to see you challenge yourself to do some yoga every day - maybe just 5 minutes. You seem to love it and it helps you sleep, so why not? For me the power of that type of challenge would be in your coming back every couple of months and saying, "Here's what went well, here's what didn't. This is what I'm doing now to KEEP GOING." Because, for me, the hardest part is to keep doing it, day in and day out, even when I love something. It would interest and encourage me to watch you tackle a project like this. I think others would be interested, too.
