Newly rebuilt 6.9 idi running for the first time!

The long awaited video on the channel. i think... The finished and running 6.9 idi, the first engine we have ever rebuilt. Its a long video, but hope you enjoy. I will also be posting the video of us driving later this week.

That turbo looks just like mine;! Canadian turbo supply.they went tits up years ago. The boost depends on how much you turn the fuel screw on mine. Works good enough. Nice job.

@@ThisGuysStuffandStuff Mine was a reg long 2wd 4 speed. Did have a 85 reg cab long 3/4 4x4 for a little while as well but it was quite rough. Would like to build a crew long 1 ton single wheel 4x4 they're rare but very cool!

No longer a chain smoker! Seems to run fine, but exhaust smoke seems too white and maybe a little blue? Maybe it just needs to be driven. Now that it runs and drives it'll reveal any other problems it's been hiding.

yeah, the drive video will be Saturday, we think it might be over fueling so much that it smokes at idle.
