I work for Royal Mail in the UK. I electronically process mail, both letters and parcels. The software I use for my job is owned and supplied by Lockheed Martin. I can't say what it does because of confidentiality, but Lockheed Martin software is used. And it's not great.

Depending on the chain, it's entirely possible. I work for one and on multiple occasions, the guy who delivered did all but prep dough on bake ring. Sauced, toppings, load in oven, take out, box, bag, then deliver. Delivery drvers, though, generally only wash dishes, build boxes, pull product from ovens and box, various cleaning assignments, and deliver.

So... it is accurate to say that Corning made the glass for the Hubble telescope, but it is not accurate to say they made the lens... how do I know... because that was literally my grandfathers last project before he passed away. In fact he had retired and given the instruction for how to finish the lens to someone else... and they screwed it up causing him to be called out of retirement and have to redo the entire lens... This is actually why the Hubble was NOT on the Challenger when it blew up, which yes it was suppose to be. Fun fact... the lens had to be hand ground.
