I used to get really down on myself due to my lack of energy and short temper. I thought that I just must not be close enough to the Lord or as strong spiritually as I should be, come to find out a couple years later that I was severely anemic, my thyroid was struggling and that my blood sugar was very, very low! I think many mamas are struggling with health issues not knowing it and beating themselves up thinking they are lazy and not calm and loving enough when it may just be their physical body is struggling so much just to get through a day. Sometimes the lack of energy or quick temper is not because of a lack of spiritual maturity but due to health problems and when we know this we can then work towards change.

I watched one of your other videos with my husband, and I’m going to be honest, I was a bit emotional because I felt guilty that maybe I wasn’t good enough. I reflected and realized this in my thinking and that it was an opportunity for encouragement. The next one I came across was this one, how much I needed to hear the reminders to control my emotions and recognize my feelings, but not act on them, rather trusting in the truth of the Bible.

Thank you so much for these reminders. I really needed this. I’ve been struggling with anger and frustration. I know that it is a heart issue that needs to be dealt with. I’ve been walking up tired and getting moody. I asked God am I moody because I’m tired or am I tired because I’m allowing heavy and bitter thoughts weigh me down and drain me. I believe it is my attitude. Like you said we don’t have to entertain those thoughts. I know that it comes from the enemy. Yes we battle with health conditions that can make us weary but there are also spiritual battles that go on inside of us. We need to bring it ALL to the lord. By his stripes we are healed and in our weakness we are made strong in Christ Jesus

I love this video and appreciate the title just as much as the words spoken. STOP BEING EMOTIONAL. What a profound message with such truth in every word spoken. Women have made some of the most horrific decisions and crimes based on emotions. In criminal law, a crime of passion is a crime committed in the "heat of passion" or in response to provocation, as opposed to a crime that was premeditated or deliberated. This is a clear sign to us as Christian women to “STOP” being emotional. As Tabitha stated. Not only can uncontrolled emotions open a door for the Devil to use us but it causes us to be a hinderance to our growth and the growth of others around us. Thank you Tabitha for the clear message. I am a young lady growing in the knowledge and grace of God while also learning to worship God through serving my husband and my family. This message was needed and doesn’t need to be altered in anyway. Regardless of the emotional women who may feel “triggered” by the title.

You're light as a believer will have an effect on those around you, no matter what. God knows what you are going through and if you rely solely upon him for your struggles, he will give you strength each day to get through. It's not easy and I have come to only put my trust in Jesus, he will never let you down. People will lose your trust and let you down. We're human and selfish. As you grow in your faith, by reading your Bible, you'll learn that pleasing God supersedes pleasing others.

Take it from me. Ready is a liar. You don't need a big fancy wedding. That can always happen later. If you feel God is telling you he's the one to marry, there's no need to make it drag on. Just go get the certificate done and work towards a small place together. Don't hate your small beginnings. Those turn into testimonies later. 🙂 I hope this encourages you. (Together for 12 years, married for 9. First three years were awful. Now? Best friends with Christ.) ❤🎉

Marriage doesn’t have to be expensive it’s about the commitment to god and your spouse. He wants you to take that leap, especially if you’re co-habiting. I did it for 3 years. Felt so convicted. It was god calling me to marriage. Living with someone else shouldn’t disable your life. You can still get married. It’s just about you and god and your partner. Marriage is hard, but it is a gift.

Ok. Maybe it's a personal preferrence and I don't like to be negative. But I thought maybe you would like feed back as it's bothered me for a while. I am not drawn to the titles of your new videos because of their negative tone. I don't disagree with content of your videos, but the tone is unappealing. "Stop being emotional" . "Stop being lazy." etc.......I feel like there are other channels that use a more gentle, positive approach. "Are you emotional? " or "How do you handle emotions?" or "Do you need encouragement to overcome......?" I have loved your channels for years. I'm a Catholic trad mom of 9 (if you don't remember me from comments at all) so I don't disagree with what your content at all, but it's confrontational to me. If someone walked up to me an said those phrases I would shut down and not engage in conversation. (afterall, I'm emotional, lol! ) I'm only mentioning it because, a) although I LOVE your channels. There are times I wait a few days to watch because of titles. b) I'm already accusing myself of weaknesses and I come to channels like this for encouragment. Maybe it's just me. I'm just letting you know in case the titles effect your appeal to new viewers who may benefit from your videos. People already feel judged by us trad-moms we need to draw them in with the beautiful and your titles are the first thing they see! Much love! Blessed Trinity Sunday!

I totally hear what you’re saying and I would prefer to have a different title as well! As a content creator I have learned over the past 10 years that if I want my content seen, I have to do what works for the algorithm. If you go to my channel videos and look at the most popular videos, all of the titles are similar and the ones where I say “STOP” first, have the most views. Using these types of titles has significantly increased my reach and has made my channel grow incredibly fast. My true message and tone is found in what I say in the videos. The blaring title gets people to click. I want as many people as possible to hear Gods word and these messages. I hope you understand.

The Bible is one of the most confrontational books there is and it has the power to absolutely transform a person from the inside out. So if someone plans to share the gospel which is what this channel is for it isn’t going to be ear tickling. As much as those of us who have taken the call to share the Holy Word of God would like all content to be pleasing to the hearers that just isn’t the nature of it. If we want true breakthrough and freedom it does mean facing what is hindering us, repent which means STOP and turn from our sins. Appreciate the truth in love because the truth is what sets us free.

I see nothing wrong with the title. When you walk with Christ the devil will tempt you to walk by the flesh Instead of walking in the Spirit. To be governed by the flesh is to be governed by emotions so when you say stop being an emotional Christian… you’re saying just that! I’m in a season where I’ve fallen into temptation of satisfying my flesh by telling someone off or sinning in my anger. At the end of my fit, I cry out to God just like Paul did in Romans 7 “the things I don’t want to do, I do and the things I want to do I dont do!” This video was for Christ followers like me who are currently struggling with their flesh. I believe God knew I needed a title like this to grab my attention. Feelings are not facts and I believe the Holy Sprit would have convicted you to change the title if you needed to! God bless you sister in Christ and thank you for your obedience! 🙌🏽✝️🙌🏽
