It’s was never out of the realm of possibility that comics Thor can beat Kratos. Let’s be real most Kratos fans either compared MCU Thor or have a limited understanding of comics Thor. True Thor comic fans already know Thor fought and beat a god killer named Gorr the god butcher. He may not have the name cache of Kratos but Gorr was simply a force to be reckoned with from killing gods from other pantheons to even killing the god of torture to then turn him into a bomb to wipe out gods from other universes. It took three Thors from different times (All father Thor, regular Thor and young Thor) two Mjmolmir’s and the all black Necro sword to destroy Gors plan and kill him. If a Thor that had to use two Mjolmir’s to stop Gorr, it simply wasn’t out of the realm of possibility for comics Thor to stop Kratos. Kratos is powerful, tactical and dangerous in his own right but vs the foes Thor faces on a regular basis it’s not uncommon to face someone like Kratos.

Darkseid is the primary/obvious threat from Apokalips which is why i began with "depends on...". Classic Odin claps any non-amped version of Darkseid and after that, the battle will be mostly taking out the fodder(doesn't necessarily mean they're weak but compared to the Asgardians i mentioned,they are) characters like Desad, Granny Goodness... Unless you're putting Orion as an Apokaliptan which i think is wrong cos he's mostly a New Genesis god,same way you won't consider Angela part of Asgard. Listing every character involved makes the comment unnecessarily long and anyone that's read comics about both places should have seen the point i was trying to make because the top Apokalips characters can be countered and defeated most times by the Asgardians i mentioned.

I REALLY wish you guys would stop comparing travel speed to combat speed. Its not just you I've seen a lot of youtubers do it. But the point still remains that Thor was traveling at that speed flying through space not moving side to side on foot like Kratos. So based on these feats Kratos makes Thor a statue and lands a death blow. Also a lot of those Thor feats you mentioned were amped versions of Thor not base Thor. If its Thor on a normal day Kratos just wins this easy, you cant argue that someone who struggles on a day to day basis against characters like the wrecking crew wins this. Kratos I basically Doomguy. His power scales to who ever he's fighting and he wins in the end no matter what. I agree its dumb and lazy but not as dumb as comic Thor being able to destroy a planet 1 issue and then struggling against characters like colossus the next.
