Tristan MacLeod Couldn’t agree more...I never had a problem with a game ending in a tie. I think the league was trying to solve a problem that didn’t exist. I certainly don’t remember some big uproar about games ending in ties before they implemented that whole system and it’s wonderful predecessor when ties and overtime losses coexisted along side one another in the standings

One weird incident involving condensation on the basketball court sort of involved LeBron James. In 2003, the Cavs traveled to St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada to play the Toronto Raptors in an NBA preseason game. It was to be LeBron's debut in playing any pro game. The Mile One Centre was filled to capacity for this highly anticipated game. However, it was still mainly used for hockey, at the time the home of the AHL's St. John's Maple Leafs. Due to more condensation appearing on the floor than was anticipated, the game ended up being cancelled altogether.
