Hi Suzie, I can feel my credit card shaking in my purse 😋....such lovely fabrics and the striped linen mix is drawing me in too 💕. I think these types of vlogs which show the movement of the fabrics and giving advice on what to make are brilliant... especially for beginners who need a little more help 👌. You had some fab suggestions there for patterns too 😁. lol Sally. Yes, seeing the fabric move really doesn't make a big difference to just seeing a photo. I will certainly be keeping up the videos so people can really get a feel for the fabrics. And yes, I have already septs quite a few wee cuts of fabric for myself....lol!

Would the 8 oz denim be suitable for shorts?

Hi Kim. Yes absolutely, its a good weight for shorts. Do bear in mind that it has no stretch so you wouldn't want to pick a pattern that was too tight fitting or they might not be too comfortable to wear!
