Dear LuChin, Thank you so much for these exercises. Last November 2023 I awoke one morning with Diplopia (double vision). So severe that I could not walk up or down steps or drive without wearing an eye patch. In my rural area it took months to get an appointment with an opthamologist who said "Wait and see". Almost a year later (3 visits w western doctors) it has improved much but not perfect. I now have corrective glasses coming from Veterans Health. 6 months ago I learned to Wave Hands Like Clouds and think that helped my eye strength. I realize that you are not a doctor and eye exercises are not a prescription but I feel these exercises are just what I need. Again Thank you so much for all you do. 🙏 🥰

Dear Chin, I've been practising yoga for several years, and recently spent 5 years in China (Wuhan). I had always been interested in the practice of Qi Gong, of which I saw sessions around me all the time, but never dared to join a class, because of the language barrier. Back in France and now retired, I took up the practice. I came to it by chance, when I found a video on youtube about eye care using Qi Gong. This led me to discover Qi Gong not only for its therapeutic aspects, but also as an exercise which (from my point of view) harmoniously complements yoga. I was moved by your introduction to this course and your explanation of the MGD you were diagnosed with, as I can only imagine what this kind of revelation can mean, having also been diagnosed with AMD in both eyes just over two years ago. It's not up to the student to teach the teacher, but if I may suggest something, at the time I was able to find acupuncture treatment. It's hard to say whether this treatment stopped the AMD, but it certainly improved my acuity and visual comfort. Back in France, the diagnosis of AMD was confirmed, but assessed at a primary stage, whereas all the medical exams I'd had in China indicated an advanced stage. Since leaving China, I no longer have the opportunity to continue acupuncture treatment, so I now practice QiGong, like the excellent class you offer. I'd like to take this opportunity to say how much I enjoy your classes, which are both simple and profound, well explained (your explanations speak to my body). Beyond the movement, I can feel the different parts of the body involved and the gentle inner energy that the practice arouses. And then, above all, you're a teacher who smiles while she teaches, and that smile is already a communicative energy for the student. Thank you very much for your teaching and for your altruism in sharing the remedy to your problem.💕 JJ

I am happy to report that my eyes are getting so much better as if my prayer was answered by the universe. A viewer to my channel shared with me about using honey to treat dry eyes. So I have been using Manuka honey in place of pharmaceutical eye medications for the last 6 months. My dry eyes are improving as I can resume my work in producing videos. Now I’m focusing on treating the root causes. In Chinese medicine point of view autoimmune disorder (which is what I have) is due to liver yin deficiency and qi stagnation. So I’m still working on the root causes.
@jean-jacquespothier60878 ай бұрын
@@QiYogaWithLuChin Dear Chin, Yes, I too am convinced that the practice of Qi Gong (and also yoga) can strengthen the body's healing capacities. I'm glad to see you've found an alternative with Manuka honey. I don't know what properties of this honey improve your dry eye problem (perhaps it's due to its immune-boosting properties?), but, indeed, traditional Chinese doctors used to explain to me that eye health is intimately linked to the liver. In fact, where I come from, we're used to saying "when the liver's good, everything's good". ☺ JJ

❤Thank you, LuChin. I noticed a slight minor ache over right eye after the clock visualization.. My muscles were truly being worked. I have limited vision in left eye after an injury and a very slight cataract on right eye. This information is priceless and the exercises most comfortable. I' ve been proactive with my vision using qi gong and regular visits to my DOM and eye specialist. He saw no deterioration after 2 years. Bless you. ❤

THANK YOU-- this was wonderful!!! I also had 'dry-eye disease' a number of years ago (I'm now 73). NOTHING that my eye doctor did helped. Eventually I found that eye strengthening and relaxation exercises like this helped. I also found that a 'steam inhaler' I used for helping my sinuses was also helpful for my *eyes*. I have not had ANY further challenges with 'dry eyes' in many years-- it is definitely possible to completely heal up from this condition, with natural means. I love all of your videos, Luchin-- thank you so very much!!!

Thanku..why do eye doctors say that exercises are useless for our eyes.
@QiYogaWithLuChin Жыл бұрын
Perhaps because of the ‘sick-care model’ in our medical system. So you are always going back to doctors. It shouldn’t really be reversed, let the prevention be the top priority, instead of treating people who are already sick. If we have done these (or other) exercises at younger age, our eyes would have been better off.
