I still pray for those kids and their families every day. It's sickening to think that she would deprive her own children of their father, even if she had gotten away with it. ​@@bobbertbobby3975 Women in general (all shapes and colors) face far less legal consequence than men. Society is tougher on men and more protective of women because we as individuals have a deep emotional connection with the women in our lives, the justice system just reflects that. At the end of the day prosecutors, judges and jurors are subconsciously asking themselves what if this was my daughter/sister/mother. You would probably do the same thing.

@@aleksmansour1246 I think judges, prosecutors, governors are more concerned about their images in the court of public opinion and how best to not sabotage their careers. If they have been in their respective professions more than a couple years then they know that women are no less evil and prone to violence than men. But they also know that the press and their political rivals will make hay out of a just sentencing and execution of a woman.
