Luv it when the Kansas police officer suddenly says out of the blue, while just responding to Tim Dean's 911 call after a routine road accident and waiting with him for the tow truck: "So where's yr wife?" - so great natural cop intuition - good work buddy. @Elizabeth Brandon There is a KZbin channel called The Behavioral Arts. I learned on that channel that the reason people do this, where they grin or smile or laugh or have a joyful expression on their face *while expressing something awful,* is because when people think they are pulling the wool over, they just cannot help themselves but to express happiness and joy. It's as if the subconscious mind leaks out, and we see the bizarre juxtaposition of a big grin as the person states how awful it is that her children's father was murdered, and justice needs to be meted out.

@Terry Lewis I've seen this technique before and am always amazed at how the subject doesn't tell the cops to back up. I used to work in a grocery store as a cashier and once in a while a customer would tell another customer to back up, that they were crowding them, and so it amazes me that someone literally backed into a corner having two people inch closer and closer doesn't just say, "Hey! Can you back away? Why ya gotta be up on my lap here?" but they never do.

@bobbertbobby39754 жыл бұрын
I mean yeah, as a progressive left wing liberal..im about to say something kinda un-PC. The fact Charlene got a deal is simply cause male prosecutors and male jurors find it tougher to put "poor helpless emotional woman" in jail for the rest of their lives. At least it is for white women...now if you happen to be a woman of color...then oh yeah the DA and Jurors seem to be fine with it...but thes poor blonde haired blue eyed cheerleader types bat their eyes at the men and cry and sob and t5hen sympathy gets them a hung jury..or an all out aquittal.
@aleksmansour12464 жыл бұрын
@@bobbertbobby3975 Women in general (all shapes and colors) face far less legal consequence than men. Society is tougher on men and more protective of women because we as individuals have a deep emotional connection with the women in our lives, the justice system just reflects that. At the end of the day prosecutors, judges and jurors are subconsciously asking themselves what if this was my daughter/sister/mother. You would probably do the same thing.
@51Dss4 жыл бұрын
@@aleksmansour1246 I think judges, prosecutors, governors are more concerned about their images in the court of public opinion and how best to not sabotage their careers. If they have been in their respective professions more than a couple years then they know that women are no less evil and prone to violence than men. But they also know that the press and their political rivals will make hay out of a just sentencing and execution of a woman.
