I lived in Omaha twenty years and miss the thrifting there. I moved to a little country town called Ponca about 2 1/2 hours northwest from there and love it, but Omaha was such a great town for that period of my life. Really happy to find your channel and re-experience that great fun!

You are doing an AMAZING job Kristen!!! I have 4 kids and know exactly how hard and time consuming it is to raise a family while also trying to put together a home!! Look how much progress you’ve already made. From the sneak peaks everything looks absolutely beautiful. You are a huge inspiration to me. My kids are older now (28,23,18,& 16) and my house is still a work in progress. I chose to spend a lot of time making memories with my children and decorating came second. They are only little once so just take your time with your house. It will come together. Enjoy your little ones.

When I buy wooden objects from GW I use Dixie Belle Paint’s hemp oil to renew them and cover scratches and other wear and tear without changing the color. It also adds a waterproof coating. It’s amazing how much better they look when the wood has been rehydrated. I use it on picture frames all the time. If you don’t have access to Dixie Belle you can find some at a hardware or paint store.

Sigrid Olsen is a older brand, still around, for quality clothing, often made of linen and cotton. I love this brand. It's kind of timeless. Good find!

Hi Kristen, I use the towel holders in the guest bathroom also. In the winter, germ season, people would rather use a fresh paper towel than a cloth towel that others have used. 😀

I hear you when it comes to leather belts, especially nowadays they can be expensive and hard to find good quality ones but I’ve seen DIY‘s with people cutting them to make small handles for the sides of a wood tray and putting like two nails in them and into the wood. Looks pretty simple to do and also something that you would find at target.

Sigrid Olsen is very high end resort wear. Most pieces start at $100. They are a great find! Also love the corn cob dolls. Very Laura Ingles Wilder but with incredible detail.
