Just today, driving through the backroads of Jackson to get to Route 9 in Howell, I had some tailgate me, I had two people who wanted to go around me just to get one car ahead because me doing 50 in a 40 wasn't fast enough for them, and after they passed me by, they came back into my lane in front of me and didn't use their signal when changing lanes. Also another favorite of mine, when you come up to a red light and there is a straight lane and a right turn lane, and people use the right turn lane to go straight because they want to get ahead of everybody else and be up in front of line, meanwhile they hold up all the cars that want to turn right, because you can turn right on red, I hate those people with a passion. And last but not least when there is a dual turn lane, and the person that is turning doesn't stay in their proper lane and they start drifting over into you or cutting you off during the turn, how hard is it to make a turn and to stay in your designated lane? This video Vic should have a part 2, because there are so many other shitty, lazy, selfish types of drivers out there. What about the drivers to go 50mph all the way up to a stop sign and then slam on the breaks, you get scared thinking they are not going to stop and go right through the stop sign. But my favorite one is people who are making a turn out of a side street, and literally wait until you are 2 car lengths away from them and then they decide to pull out in front of you forcing you to slow down and slam on your breaks, because they pull out nice and slow and take forever to get up to speed, that happens to me at least twice a week if not more, and sadly 9 out of 10 times, there are no cars behind me, so if they literally would just wait another 5 seconds I would be passed them and then they can go without causing anyone to slow down. I call this problem the 3 i's, impatient, inconsiderate, ignorant a-holes that is what this world is full with. It's a sad sad world. Be safe and be careful out there, and a pro-tip for you, try to avoid driving through Lakewood unless it is a Saturday, lol.

100% right Vic! Since I have had to drive my company vehicle that has no rear visibility, I have become adept at using my side mirrors. It really ticks me off to see the mo mo behind me try to lick my ass end. To overcome this I flip up my rear view mirror in my personal car and don’t use it. I could give a rats ass what goes on behind me because it’s on the guy behind me if she or he rams me. Of course I care if my car gets hit and don’t want to go through all that goes along with it but I’m not going to get bent out of shape having to try to do something about what I have no control over or change the way I’m driving. One lane per direction? Suck it up. I drive the limit and often 5 over. Two lanes in each direction, pass me mother f’er and get off my ass. That’s what ticks me off!

I always try to do right thing. Not to be better than anybody, but because I value my safety and others. I drive the speed limit, stay in right lane except to pass and then back in the right lane. Always use my blinkers and never tailgate. It is all a matter of safety because I do not want to put anybody's life in jeopardy.

Think about it: We take a written test ONE time, to get our beginers permit, about age 15-16. We take a ridiculously easy road test to get our license, about age 16-17. Then, there is no accountability. When you go to renew your license in my state, all you have to do is read the eye chart at the DMV counter, and you're in. It's like an episode of "Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?" How many people who have held a license for 20-30 years could pass the written test today?

Depending on what direction you are facing, either driver could consider themselves to be "the one on the right" as you said. Not saying you are wrong, but that just seems kind of arbitrary.

@@perryegolson833 I know how that happens sometimes, but it's not that common. Arbitrary, I think not.... A large number of people just don't know the rules of the road. Or they ignore them completely. If you are pulling up to the stop sign the same time as someone else across from you, turn signals are a great help in this matter, but many don't even use their turn signals anymore.

@@gigglemug777 Yes that's correct. I have been in that situation where there is a "tie". And this is where turn signals, like you mentioned, as well as just courtesy and decency should prevail. Somebody just wave the other person through, rather than both try to be the first one through at the same time. That's how accidents happen. Too many people with this "My destination is more important than your destination" mentality.

I am always careful in 4 way stops because people in Miami A.K.A North Cuba don't know about the who stops for thing they just go after they stop and blare their horn at you if you go because you stopped before them. To them it's whoever moves fastest.

Every day I experienced the same exact thing with people not even stopping at stop signs it's like what part of the word stop don't you people understand? That's one of my biggest pet peeves. How about driving with your signals on Vic, there's a good one for you... thinking the person's going to turn or you look in your mirror and he's got his signal on and he's driving straight or he's in front of you and he's got his signal on and not turning that's another one of my biggest pet peeves.
