This came out really pretty. I found a trick for you. I know you usually iron your shirts, so thought about you when I saw this as an alternative that might save you some time. Hate ironing? It’s totally not necessary. You can get rid of wrinkles without an iron. Ever spray your wrinkly clothes with water or flicked water on them? This trick is a variation of that, but it’ll give you more coverage than a quick splash of water. Throw a couple of ice cubes in your dryer, along with your wrinkled clothing for about 15 minutes. As the heat from your dryer melts the ice cubes, steam is released to help rid your clothes of wrinkles.

I think so. In case there is something weird going on with the dye it will happen on the inside. The truth is it really doesn’t make much of a difference, but most all of us dye inside out. Do what works best for you. Try it both ways and see which you like better. 😉❤️🌈

Great concept on the double spiral. I seem to notice from multiple videos you make and others' that the dye powder seems to not dissolve completely, are there ways to make the dye powder to dissolve better, so there is no freckles on the shirt/item and clogged tips? I watched Mr Tie Dye, and I saw him using a fine mesh strainer (I found them in Walmart in the kitchen utensils area), do you think that might help you by pre-mixing in a separate jar with a immersion blender, and running through a fine mesh strainer and funnel into the squeeze bottles. Or shuffle the liquid dye from jar to jar using a mesh strainer and using the immersion blender by extending the blending time to make sure all the dye crystals/powder is flowing without any powder/crystals visible in the strainer? It may seem a lot of work doing the dye prep, but I think it will help with freckles on the shirt and clogged tips, what is your thought on it?

I think I watched Mr. Tie Dye do that as well. I know I watched someone use some type of strainer. It’s a great idea and next time I’m at Walmart I’ll look for the mesh/cheese cloth. I do use an immersion blender to mix most of my dyes. I think in this scenario it might have been old dye… Some colors, especially those with asterisks, seem to clog up my tips more than others. That’s a great idea… however, for me it’s one more thing to clean. I loath mixing dye. That’s the not fun part of tie dye! 😉❤️🌈

Ive found that stirring my powdered dyes in Very warm water in a big measuring cup and then pouring it into a bottle, rather than shaking it in the bottle, helps me a lot. I have this issue with yellow type dyes...orange, terracotta, exc.

This is super pretty. Was the deep purple old dye? I have that issue when my dye is old. It’s crystallizes. I just pour it out and start over at that point. Thanks for sharing! ✌🏻

I know I keep harping on Eggplant, but I am going to finally dye the T-shirts that have been in the soda ash for like a week (I have been in tissue paper pattern hell and limited space) and I am going to do something like this and use Eggplant where you use Black and will post it to your FB group so you can see it (if I don't screw it up...lol)
