I love this so much, you explain everything so clearly. Could you share a ten minute mobility routine for the neck, shoulders and arms as well? I lack upper body mobility for my rowing exercises.

Thanks mate! Just bought a Concept 2 so I don't go absolutely -------- mental during lockdown. Just tried your Interval workout - enjoyed (?!) it, but realised at 48 years old.... I need to stretch. 1st stretch... wait what!?! **crack, snap, ow, what the!?** My mobility and flexibility is so reduced, i can't even get my leg under me in that manner. Edit.. okay dragon pose I can do. That first pigeon stretch is incredible I'm in awe at your flexibility.

I need more stretching since getting my Concept 2 rower a month ago. Even with good form, my lower back is in pain. Stretching does help, for sure.

Jonathan - if your lower back is in pain, you are not rowing properly. Check your technique. Are you driving with the legs fully and pivoting before engaging the arms (which should be straight at the catch)? Focus on technique to begin with using easy strokes with fewer reps until you have mastered the full stroke cycle. Build from there.
