The Bored Ape event used UV lights, not neon. They used UV in place of black lights for a glowing effect. If you had a pet lizard, you would specifically give them a UV light to bask in. Because _THAT IS MOSTLY THE KIND OF WAVELENGTH SUNLIGHT IS WHEN IT GETS TO EARTH._ The attendees were slowly blinded by having simulation sun flashed in their eyes the whole night. You'd think that would make only lights as bright as the sun really be the harmful issue, but you'd be wrong. It was a low-level light, physically triggering pupils to dilate to low light conditions, but also having direct sun stand-in quietly buzzing around from every angle. (This gets corrected, but I cannot stress enough how stupid this decision was.)

It’s literally the same as sunlight, uv-c, the most harmful version, except when the sun emits it, the atmosphere blocks most of it, not so with a uvc lamp. Extended exposure (depending on strength, distance etc., that could be anywhere from hours to minutes) can cloud your cornea because it basically sunburns your eyes, and can cause cataracts turning them white (and, y’know, blinding you) which is going to require surgery to fix, and can also contribute to skin cancer. Usually they’re used for disinfecting things in industry and hospitals, but no humans are exposed to it because it’s dangerous, but covid quackery led to a surge in sales to normal people, convinced that some uv c exposure would help prevent them getting sick, which, to an extent, sure, but not if you already inhaled the virus, and at a pretty significant cost. So a bunch more commercially available uvc lamps, not enough education on the matter, and they do function as a black light (and look cool) leads to a bunch of people getting injured. Good thing they have so much money stored in NFTs for settlements…wait, the NFT market did what? But how could that be!? Those computer generated monkey pics AREN’T the future of currency!? Oh noooo….

I got diagnosed with ADHD last year as a 25y old woman, and suddenly everything in my life made sense. So i relate with jarvis on tying a lot of things to adhd. I got diagnosed this summer when I was 35. Got dayum. I’ve been morning lil MayMay. Poor kid. This all came about bc of three concussions when I was a band director during the 18-19 school year. Silver lining I guess? My symptoms because relentless. I cried a lot the first half of this year. Crazy to think a lot of my depths of depression and anxiety were just me suffering through this ADHD. And damn all the scientists back in the 90’s studying the boys. We were completely overlooked. Ack. My life has been a lie. I left teaching March of 2022. Now in school for IT. Woooooo So yes, entire life is in uproar and it’s like all I think about. And I was dwelling on it for the months prior to the diagnosis when I kept finding all this research, accommodations and techniques that actually worked for me. I’m thinking, damn, do I have ADHD? Big yes. Good luck to you on your journey, and in your life. We’re in a tough spot these days, so I hope you’re doing ok.

Nothing wrong with the fake work out squat ladies and nothing wrong with the fake baking hot guys. If you're a straight man, you probably don't get it. But if you look at the comment sections of these sexy baking guys, you will see the straight ladies are really into it. Here's the problem with "umm" and "uhhh" they're fine and no one generally cares up until you are on camera calling someone else out for their presence in a video/presentation. Like most people don't care up until they see another calling them out for it

11:59 infinity train was created, produced, written, and directed by owen dennis (he didn’t fill all of those roles all of the time but he was still a really important part of the show) RIP infinity train 😿😿
