Been struggling with masturbation for the longest, I’ll do good for about two weeks, then go right back to day zero. It’s hard, it is so hard. But God, given me so many ways to stay fed spiritually, for example the B side, and Tim Ross.

I needed this because the struggle has been real. 3 years single and nothing but tempation all around. The deeper I go in my walk with Christ, the more temptation I'm faced with. Ive literally had to distance myself from certain people and environments in order to keep my thoughts pure and from falling into sin. Patiently waiting on my future spouse ❤️🙏🏽.

Trust GOD once the devil tries to tempt you remind yourself of GOD is with you & he made a way out the devil flees when he sees you submit to GOD & we can fight the devil with THE WORD OF GOD he gave us the power to trample on the serpent Luke : 10:19 I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.

I love that- I would add to it that discipline is not doing what you don’t want to do. Discipline is not doing what you WANT to do. Which is why we will fall short but we have to accept the fact that we will make mistakes and we can strive to do better. That’s why it’s called self control. It’s a process not a light switch.

It was just last night I was having thoughts about my attractions to the same sex, and I have given up a lot of things but this one was hard. Finally last night I finally gave it up, because I felt secure in my attractions, but God really spoke to me and said it's time, and I prayed and I finally decided that I don't have to hold on to it anymore. It really comes down to sacrificing what you love for the God you love. There is joy in that, to know that you have fully committed your flesh to God, regardless of temptation. At this point, what do I have to lose.

This is the realest thing I’ve heard to where I’m at in my life currently. I thank you Monique for being vulnerable and asking this question I’ve been asking my self for months. During times where I’m sinning I do hear that voice in my head (the self god is calling me to be) trying to push my flesh or old self through whatever I’m doing currently. I hear songs of praise and worship music in the midst of my sinful nature and I’ve couldn’t explain this feeling for a while but it’s makes sense. I had two guys one random and one who I went to high school with that I haven’t heard from that’s Gods calling me higher and I just believe I’ve been ignoring the signs or one just not ready to fully believe and die to my old self yet. This explanation by Tim makes so much sense

Going along with what he said, you have to change your identity, if you’re OK with sin, you’ll always be a sinner, therefore identify as a sinner, but if you put God first and identify as a faithful servant, sin will be less tempting and easier to resist. Similar to if you were a smoker you can’t just quit until you change your identity. “I’m not a smoker anymore” “I’m not a sinner anymore” of course we all sin but your need for gods grace will be far less than wherever you are now.

After watching this video, I got the question. Will I choose to give in to this temporary sense of pleasure over the loving relationship I have with God? It makes me have to identify what is more important to me. And this goes back to God giving us free will to choose. Is the connection with God more important than a temporary sense of pleasure?

I love the way you encourage your colors. Keep up the good work bro.. What happened that I would say that God does call us to hate what he hates and to love what he loves as we have multiple scriptures to back this . Psalm 97 is a good start. I do agree that we have to work our way to that hate but we are definitely called to hate what he hates and love what he loves . I think we can all share experiences where we both hated and loved something . The quest is for us to hate it more than we love it, and he will bring us to a fullness on that day. That was the only area where I thought what was said, could be taken in a different way, and you may have even been saying it that way, but we are definitely supposed to pursue, hating what God hates and loving what he loves . Much love, Bro.

Amen to this 🙏🏾 I am also struggling with this my sister in Christ. Isolation is good for a season to really grow into the person god has created you to be and build a great relationship with God . But even god said “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him”Genesis‬ ‭2‬:‭18‬ ‭. So I understand completely when you’re battling alone it’s harder sometimes it feels like you vs the world sometimes you just want someone beside fighting with you. I pray that god sends us both something who can sharpen our minds and build our faith in our times of weakness ❤ god bless you hekima keep fighting it’s gets greater later 🙏🏾

Brother may I give you some advice I pray you take it. In your thumbnails and in your videos don't use any of those sites logos even if it's kind of blurred out people who are familiar with those sites will easily fall in temptation just looking at that.. I remember years ago I was watching a brother in Christ kind of the same thing you were doing and he had to blurred out but I knew what website it was and all that . All I was thinking was about that website instead of listening to what he had to say. Keep in mind that the people watching this video are vulnerable and are trying to find a way to get out of that temptation. any little Pebble on the floor will make them stumble and fall i speak from experience. People addicted to that are not "strong" enough to ignore that like its nothing. Keep that in mind I tell you as a brother and with love God bless you and your ministry

I think thats the point. Pastor Tim was saying that Jesus crucifixion was for our salvation and our own crucifixion is so that we don’t die by our own sins. Although his grace is limitless there are still consequences to our actions. The price for all sins is death. Thankfully we wont have to experience death of our spirits because of jesus’ sacrifice. Hope that helped.
