There used to be this show on USA in the early 2000's called Monk, where Tony Shaloub played a genius detective who had OCD. One of the recurring characters was this gigantic obese ultra-rich guy named Dale "The Whale" Biederbeck, played by Tim Curry in a fat suit, who was immobilized and only able to lay in his bed. He was some kind of well-connected crime lord who was retired. When Monk was unable to solve a case he would pay a visit to this rich bedridden obese man who would laugh and taunt Monk and then give him a vague clue that would move the plot along. I can't think about anything else while watching this podcast.
