Tim, I love your videos and since I stepped out of my abusive church and have difficulties finding a new one because everything is so triggering, your videos and the 10-15 minutes of bible lessons are so good and a blessing. Thank you so much

Betrayal never comes from our enemies
@Hawaiiansky11

That's something I realized, when I had amnesia. You don't get betrayal trauma from people you are ambivalent about; you get it from someone you trust completely, and upon whom you are dependent in some manner. Dissociative amnesia is one of the symptoms of betrayal trauma.

Very encouraging video. Some people need to be reminded too that they are not prone to be harboring demons given our different personal tastes and some of our talents like negative to the extreme people all want us to believe about ourselves only because they see others who are different than themselves in their own family of origin as that being evil.. So stop giving people like that what they will be regarding as only being your used straw instead of it for example being continued to be stewarded as your own flute while being an example of real godly behavior focused on the Lord. Or worse yet stop giving people like that what they want to regard as only being your used straw when handing over to them your marriage partner whom they despise while gossiping about to you. Our common enemy cannot overcome us while we are in the solidarity of Christ acknowledging that he came to earth in the flesh regardless if we are a man, a woman, Jewish, Indigenous, or Gentile.

@@dariosergevna some people who have had trauma in their lives r much more empathetic to others because they know what pain means. It has nothing to do pre or after recovery etc.

That’s a meaningful thought. Thanks for putting it that way. I also love the opportunity to appreciate all the negative aspects of trauma. Once I am not mad at myself and manage to truly see the beauty where I am- sitting in the dirt. The positive aspects will be like gifts to me. Realizing the negative is like building the foundation for me. Making sure it won’t be forgotten, will enable to TRULY appreciate the good that comes out of it :) sending love

People think addicts love drugs. Wrong. Addicts love anything that will stop them from committing suicide. Wish I could find something today. I've had a falling out with everyone. Sadly happy pill dealers are assholes and since I never keep in contact I tend to find myself once again looking for something to use to just end it. You'd think I'd keep a contact but they don't gaf. And I keep thinking I'm going to be ok when I get back in AA. Well no. Not anymore. I'm at I'm wanted and needed but not loved. And I am done people pleasing everyone now. Totally done!

Being addicted to anything is a SYMPTOM is some sort of trauma. The cure isn't to get rid of the addicted substance; it's to heal the emotional and psychological wounds. Which you can't do under the influence of addictive substances.

The one about healing being hard and ugly sometimes - It's been really hard, and I still cry and overreact at seemingly benign situations. My worst wounds came from my teen years where my malignant narcissist mother really ratcheted up her game because I was not allowing her to control my every move. She had to terrorize, torture, beat, lie, manipulate and coerce me into complying. She destroyed my mind and took away all my hopes and dreams, replacing them with her own for me (which, as it turns out, was to be a total loser because I never did become 'good enough'). I'm 53 now. It's been a long road. But I know I'm getting better. I am calmer. The peaks and valleys are not as high, or as low. I can feel joy sometimes. It's when I laugh a hearty belly laugh and stop myself, realizing I haven't done that in a while, that I realize how good it feels to feel good. it's those moments when I'm with others where I don't have to figure out 'how' to be or 'who' to be - I just am, and that's okay. I don't have to be happy or blissful, or filled with joy to be healed. I can be 'okay.' Some days, that's the best I can be. I'm okay with being okay.

I’m critical of abusive romantic interests or manipulative people when calling them out on their abusive/manipulative behavior but then I leave. Otherwise I’m not critical & empower others.

I have certain rights. As other people do as well like Miranda rights right to an attorney etc... that you have completely ignored for 5 years !! Over a tape they show up at my house for that no one can see anything in !! And over a story that was made up right in front of me !! You came in here with all this karmics teaching me lessons about how Israel would never be at war. Ukraine would never be invaded. Sat in here insulting me making fun of me ridiculing me for years for saying stuff like that until it all happened all of it. Years you sitting here trying to use my information which was stolen and I had to go to the police for it just so they tell me there was nothing you could do !! Years asking for a court date and time just so you could try to sensor me and tell people that because I said. China would create a global south that people shouldn't listen to me because I was crazy and not to ask me anything ?! When I said myself you have any questions come and ask me !! Sat here accusing me 5 years with videos that are not even mine ;;! Words that are not even mine telling me tats who I was !! Trying to tell me that's what I was saying !! Years telling me I want a man in my life that I want absolutely nothing from because I confronted him. And he threaten me !! That's the end of that story that you keep adding more and more lies to it to make it fit !! You sat here using stolen information..from someone that was asked repeatedly !! To stop baby sitting me !! And I can't even say how uncomfortable I felt with him doing that. !! So now you make up another love story up !! At one time everything was staged !! I kept my mouth shut did mention it eventually ..but I stayed there you know why waiting to be served a court date and time for the false accusations against me !! This was not no !!! This was suppostu be in court !!! Not having everyone hear one side of the story their side than judge me !! When I never even made a single phone call to Campbell !! And anything I say anything oh I'm crazy that's the explanation for everything. You can't see nothing on their tape but I'm crazy. !! Their times and story don't make sense at all but I'm crazy !! He didn't even have a job to save money but I'm crazy !! That's the excuse for everything !! Campbell I never even called but apparently his phone has not stop ringing with my phone calls !! It's ridiculous !!!
