Great Timo, I'm really happy to hear you. It's a gift to know that you are playing in High level. When I watch some specific shots or games of you in your career and see how you have reversed the obstacles in an almost lost games, Timo takes the rabbit out from the topper...right hand, left hand, so, in several challenges of my life I try to remember many people who can inspire us. And also there is a song from the band Journey that says "Don't stop believing, hold on in that feeling", congrats Timo, enjoy, be happy and vielen dank!

Hey, Timo. I cannot figure out a different way to message you. So, I am doing so on here. Timo, I was the one who suggested that you switch to the Primorac Carbon ST handle with the Dignics 09C on the forehand and the Dignics 05 on the backhand. I did so JUST before you made the switch and I even have proof of that. I went into full detail about why the Primorac Carbon ST handle with those 2 rubbers would be perfect for you at your age. And then, a few weeks later, you had made the switch and you won the Euros. So, having said all that, I have some suggestions for you, as I have seen how you've been playing currently. Whether it's due to age, or injury, or both, CLEARLY you must make a change and I believe that I have identified the key thing that is causing you to lose. I believe that it's the fact that your attacks are lacking just a tiny bit of pace, which is just enough for the top pros to counterattack with quality. Having said all that, I believe you should go back to the Primorac Carbon ST handle. Get one that is a bit less than the 88g which it's supposed to weigh. Maybe use one that's about 85g. Then, I believe that you should try T05 on both sides of it. Your ability to create spin is such to where I believe that you can handle T05 on both sides of the Primorac Carbon. And I think that using this setup will make your attacks have so much pace and spin to where you're able to beat the top players again, all while making it so you don't have to change anything else about your game. If that doesn't quite work for you, then try T05 Hard on both sides. If that doesn't work either, then just go with the D09c forehand and D05 backhand setup like before. Good luck!

I think online personal coaching is a good alternative for adult players that dont get as much attention in their local clubs as they would like. This market is underdeveloped and I wish more personal coaching online via video would be made available for a decent price. I fell in love with table tennis late in my life (38 years) and have now played for about a year and participated in the league for one season. The "talented" 10-year olds in my club win vs. me by a small margin (3 out of 5 games), even though they have played for two years and they play every day. I try to develop my game into the point where I can have condifent and consisten topspin strokes with good footwork. Its difficult for me to judge whether I can develop further or where table tennis can take me. Right now, most points are won by flat smashes of bad serve returns. Either way, I like table tennis as a sport to stay active into old age.

Hi.

Hi Timo, since you collaborate with Butterfly, would you ask them to improve the amicus robot ? The net behind the head is very tight and when a ball hits it hard it reflects back on the table. Then, the paint used for the logo on the net is terrible, it cracks into small pieces that go everywhere, and might even damage the robot; better without. The tray where the balls stay is made of cloth and more often than not the balls accumulate in one point and don't go in the feeder. Obviously, they put lots of effort into designing the head and control, but it is far away from the otherwise inferior newgy which has the net and tray sorted out. Thank you !!!
