@@joshuaridd9841she’s had great success in France, not QUITE to the level she had in the 90s in Aus but still very good. And she had some mild success in the US for a very short window. As talented as she is - and vocally I think she’s equal to Barbra and Celine - she’s not interesting or exciting enough for a big mainstream audience like Kylie in pop or Celine in adult contemporary. I think she reached the level of success her talent and artistry warranted.

This album was the first cassette tape I ever had. I got it from a radio stations DJ van here in Kansas City when I was in 1st grade. This song gave me hope that my mom could leave my abusive dad. (She did). I played it on my play school karaoke machine every chance I could, even show and tell at school(my teacher was puzzled 😂). This song will for ever hold a special place in my heart.
