Saban gave him Minka and he threw away a top safety over the same inner drama as today. He did not listen to Chan Gailey and Fangio hinted from day 1 to day 100 that we had something special in Gink and now he is a probowler somewhere else. Grier doesn't listen and tries to silly putty the roster to scheme instead of impact players.

@@Ballaholic17they won 11 games last year. You didn’t predict anything btw, you picked dolphins going 7-10 with Tua healthy all season, this is the first time Miami finished under .500 in 5 years and that was because Tua missed a third of the season. Yes Chris Grier is a bumbling idiot and they suck in the trenches every damn year but you like to place the bulk of the blame on Tua when he’s the only player that makes Miami a respectable opponent
@Ballaholic17
@Ballaholic17 17 күн бұрын
@gregtrust5599 I actually did predict 7-10. I don't remember saying with Tua healthy, but it doesn't it really matter why. It's always if this or if that at the end of every season. The Dolphins haven't won 10+ games in back to back years since 2000-2001, and after the way last year ended. I knew they wouldn't this year. I don't blame Tua. He's a limited, slightly above average qb. It's not his fault Grier paid him and can't properly build a roster or draft. McDaniel doesn't bring add anything to the team as the head coach, either, so there's plenty of blame to go around other than Tua. Tua is the highest paid Dolphins player in team history, and qbs are polarizing figures. If you thought he wouldn't get criticized or blamed by the fans and media, then you must not pay attention to pro sports. Fair or unfair, that's life as an NFL QB.

A team shouldn't become THAT BAD when the QB isn't available. I mean, without Tua, this team's record over the last 3 years is ABYSMAL! Tua is injury prone and it sucks, but there should be a TEAM around him that can fill in and win some games while the QB is hurt. Skylar?! That's who we rode in with? A TERRIBLE offensive line that can't get the run game going 80% of the time? (That's why you see so many stupid screen passes, 0 interior push on the line). If this TEAM was better, they would've EASILY gutted out a couple extra wins in there somewhere. Whether it's the Arizone, Buffalo, Tennessee, Houston, Indy, or the Jets game.

With the amount of assets as far as picks they had plus money and Grier still can’t pull a team to win a playoff is crazy to me. Look at the teams like the Texans and lions that were bad a couple years back and managed to get better within the same amount of time this rebuild started. Look where we’re at. The titans managed to go on a playoff run with Tanehill. Like that’s enough for me to question that whole front office

This tells me that from the owner down to the players already know this team isn’t Championship caliber and next year will be a waste. MMD will be fired within the first 5 weeks. Grier will follow soon after. There isn’t any leadership on any level in this organization. Everyone is finally showing their true feelings about Tua. As I predicted Grier and MMD would be back ‘25 but we will win 5 to 7 games. We will blow it up and tank ‘26 and draft either Lagway, Riola or Manning (if he plays four years like his uncles) in the ‘27 draft.

Yes, Tua makes a difference when he plays, but the difference isn't enough to make this team a contender. Tobin cut it out man you hate Liam Eikenberg. Tua is not available 6-7 games and Miami are losing these games you wanna act like somebody else is throwing the ball no tua is not there then somebody else is throwing the ball and if that somebody else is playing behind that line that person may not be able to get the ball out like how tua does And even when tua is behind that line like dude if you just hate Liam just say that, but this season went to craps because our starting quarterback was not available point-blank. A lot of the games that we should’ve won should’ve been if our starting quarterback was in rhythm and healthy throughout the season which would’ve put us in better game plans. Come on man stop it dude stop with the back-and-forth You don’t like Chris Greer you don’t like Liam and so you’re gonna basically put a shield over whether tua is part to blaming this. Yes he has a lot to blame in this and yes, Tyreek Hill has also a lot to blame in this lotta drops. I’ve seen lower level receivers in the league make more catches and be more explosive than Tyreek has been this year so cut it out now.

You picked up a reckless QB that's known for playing hero ball (that's how he got hurt in college), and want to blame him for being a reckless QB. Idk about that. We'd be better with Herbert, but even he couldn't win with a little dweeb as a coach. The Chargers weren't good with Brandon Staley

Herbert is trash, he would be Ryan Tannehill all over again in Miami. Only thing Herbert does better than Tua is stay healthy because he 6 foot 7. He is a mediocre game manager QB that misses wide open receivers every game. Harbaugh saved his career, Tua has kept McClown and Grier still in business. Tua is way better than Herbert, always has been since college. Justin is 2 games above .500 in his career, he will never be a Super Bowl contender, he’ll beat the Texans in round one only because Harbuagh’s defense will shut down stroud. If Miami had Herbert, their peak season would be 10 wins and their floor would be 6 wins

The only way to fix the dolphins is to reduce ticket sales. Theyre getting reasonable ticket sales with mediocre on the field product. The organization goal isn't to win a super bowl.... thus there is no winning culture being developed. I miss Jimmy Johnson.

Grier blames Tua ROFLMAO. He's the IDIOT who selected him over J Herbert!!! Then hired McD, who never had a head coaching job, then instead of hiring Campbell (who was interim coach after Ross fired Brian Flores) and still keeps his job WTF? You just can't make this shit up

Grier has to go. He's been there for what 9 years and hes accomplished nothing. Nothing.. He can't draft or work the salary cap........ And GRIER GETS IN FRONT OF THE MEDIA AND PUTS IT ON OUR QB. No GM runs his players down. Have class and a backbone and protect your players. You drafted TUa so stand behind your decision but Grier bails and blames TUA. Do we have to go back to Coach Flores (who was a damn good coach) who wanted Justin Herbert? !!! I'm a lifelong fan. I bleed for this team and I say this. TUA is my QB. I stand with him and there is no question about him being the starter. I respect him but for CHRIS GRIER to come out as the GM and blame a player is the sad. So here we are again facing the sad end of the season and there is no excitement for next year. This is Chris Grier football.

Tobin you are such fanboy of the star player of the team when it comes to Miami heat and Miami dolphins. When it comes to Jimmy Butler and TUA they can do no wrong in your eyes. Which makes me sick to my stomach because you're not about the team you're just a obsessed groupie. You're always backing up your star player over the team which makes you a fake dolphins fan. Why don't you go put a wig on and wait outsider there house and show some leg.

I say tank the next three seasons. To build the offensive line with high picks. Dolphins been sorry for 20+ years so another three won’t hurt if they are better for it. Plus Tua will be gone by then.
