Yes. That was Toby’s wife. This performance was just weeks before he died. What a spirit he had. And Ty when Inwas thinking of the words of this song, I was reminded of you. Not because of your age, but because you teach this same message and the song Toby wrote and just sung. Toby kept getting up and going until the end.

That was his wife in the crowd crying and he was on stage too at the end. By this point, Toby had lost half his body weight. Went from 260 to 130. So sad I thought he might beat cancer. He wrote this song after a conversation with Clint Eastwood in 2018 but the song took on a whole new meaning after his battle with cancer.

He had lost so much weight. I was a fan from the beginning , I Should've been a Cowboy. He wrote and sang funny songs, serious songs. I appreciate all the trips he made to Iraq, to Afghanistan and other places our troops were at. He really believed in supporting our troops.

Oh I'm so sorry. My prayers are with you. My aunt passed away in 93 from brain cancer. I understand what they go through. I was a care giver for her. I helped my mom care for her up to her death. As I did with my mom in 2017. Now I take care of my dad. God bless you. I'll remember you❤

Yes, that was his wife and they both knew time wasn't on his side. In fact. He did an over hour interview less than 2 weeks before his death. I believe he had dark sunglasses on. He weighed 130lbs when he died at 6'3. It's very heartbreaking to look at him like that knowing him for always being such a big guy. He weighed 260lbs. 😢

I seen Toby one time after this. Someone was asking him some questions. I can't quote him exactly. He told the man he had faith. He said Jesus Christ was driving the race and he was along for the ride wherever it took him.

Unfortunately the old man snuck in when Toby went to sleep everyone lost a brother our soldiers lost a father figure . That was Trice his wife she was petrified of loosing the love of her life stomach cancer is the worst cancer to have she is a good woman when they went to see an oncologist in Texas and they told Toby and her is odds of survival she looked at him and told him don’t worry we got this she took over running everything so Toby could rest.

Love this song. My dad is fighting cancer now. Not a good prognosis. This song came out about the time he got sick and it has kinda been our anthem. I’ve been a fan of Toby since he came out in the 90s but his death hit extra hard all things considered.

Toby Keith had so many great songs so whether you need to hear something heartfelt, patriotic, romantic, sad, melancholy, inspiring, thoughtful, or just plain funny, yeah especially funny, then Toby’s got what you need. My favorite songs by Toby Keith are Who’s That Man; Wish I Didn’t Know Now; You Shouldn’t Kiss Me Like That; He Ain’t Worth Missing; We Were In Love; Upstairs Downtown; Don't Let the Old Man In; How Do You Like Me Now; Made in America; I Wanna Talk About Me; American Soldier; Trailerhood; A Little Too Late; A Little Less Talk and a Lot More Action; and of course Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue. RIP Toby, we miss you!

Hey old friend, long time no see! Spiritually and in mindset, I'm 48 going on 18. Physically and mentally, I guess I let the old man in, and I'm 48 going on 70. I feel like I've aged 20 years while still looking 20 years younger. Always enjoyed the hell out of Toby Keith. His songs and the videos are funny and just fun. His other stuff is all about patriotism, loving the military and those who serve, loving God, family, sometimes commentary about life in this country, both good and ill. He really loved what is right and the truth no matter how ugly it was. His illness caught me by surprise when I saw him in a recent video back in September or maybe August. I didn't know he had cancer back then. When I found out, I thought he was actually on the winning side of stomach cancer, but then back in December or January I heard the tide had turned. It puts a dark cloud over my heart to know he's gone, but man, he is probably giving my dad one hell of a concert in heaven! It's shocking to see old pictures on album covers with him having some healthy facial fat and looking solid, and then seeing him like he was in this video and in the final video he made in hospice for fans. Toby was one hell of a guy and will be missed with every replay of any of his songs! Hope all is well MRM, and I'll see ya later!

Toby, I cried the first time I heard this, and now that you're gone, I am crying more profoundly. I am in my 70s, and I am trying to keep the old man outside, but I also have an affliction that will let him in faster than I want him to come in. The essence of spirit and the life in me is fighting to keep him out, but eventually, time will have its way with all of us. Old man time is unrelenting.

Can you do a reaction to new and up in coming gospel songs? There is this really good artist named devoted to Yah and has made some really good gospel music. He also has shown up to protest transgender events. He has a really good song called the sound of freedom, that he did in the middle of time's square. I think we should really get this guy some exposure.
