Hi Angie, it's been a while since I've started to follow you and currently I am bing watching your videos to improve makeup applications for photoshoots and work professionally in the industry. I've started watching makeup videos from beauty gurus and influencers many years ago, this is how I've learned about concealers, lip liners, highlighters, bronzers and all the stuff to look bomb. Since, I've decided to become an MUA. I've moved to London, cause I knew the film and fashion industry is big there and I can learn English! I've recently finished my first year of my makeup course. Watching your videos taught me way more that what my lecturers did! The very expensive makeup kit they provided was so bad and not seriously decided. I've made a whole new list of products to buy to make my kit better by noting your recommendations. I am looking at my list and I have few years to work before getting the kit complete :D Anyway, no matter how much you think you know and how good you can apply makeup, It's only from you that I've learned how to work in a professional mindset considering many factors to become a better artist; lighting, choice of right products, knowing color theory, knowing how to mix foundations, how to make the makeup look good on camera, ... This makes such a HUGE different in teaching makeup students, because these are the techniques that we should be knowing! These makeup courses are so basic and the lecturers are not so passionate that students have to spend even more money for quality kits and additional masterclasses/courses. The beauty industry is so competitive that no one is kind enough to tell you how to do any of those things to become the artist you wanna be. It's sad to think that I could've learned all these basic techniques and information during my course from my lecturers in a year. This is why I love internet, There are always passionate artists that will always be out there to communicate their worthy knowledge to give us inspiration, motivation and help us become a better artist. Thanks so much Angie! x

You're so good and talented make up Artist. I don't understand why you have only 16k subscribers. BTW I did sign up for your mentoring program. Super excited to hear back from you.

Hello Angie! I always learn from you, thank you! When you work at weddings, which is what you request from the bride for that day, I mean the space, for example that in the hotel where the makeup will be carried out there are tables for you to work comfortably. Is there anything else you request from the bride? Thanks!
@AngieDiB3 жыл бұрын
Hi! I have an entire list of requirements that I send with my contract (including safety protocols that I need followed), but I do bring my own table/high chair/lighting with me because sometimes what is provided is not sufficient. I do have a car so this is easy for me to do.

Thank you Angie! I always learn from your video! .. When you contract with the brides, do you have any recommendations for bridesmaids about facial care before the wedding day? or do you only do it with the bride the day of the makeup test? Thanks!

Would u ever consider doing a video in the future about how to properly use a foundation brush? I always preferred a sponge on myself and because of that i dont know how to properly use one:l and i feel i should to be a mua, for some reason it always feels like i just somehow mess up and i never like the outcome when i attempt to use one, do u have any tips?? Also ily and ur so great lol
@AngieDiB6 жыл бұрын
The last few videos I have posted demonstrate how I use a foundation brush - just use it to buff the foundation on to the skin and see if it works for you!
