The murder was part of a bizarre initiation ritual. I don’t think Dr. Grande went into the whole witch coven initiation part of the story (yes it gets more bizarre) but Bailey & Aubrey believes witches get some kind of power from someone drawing their last breath. Poor Sydney, she had no idea what she was dealing with when she was connected with Bailey.

Dr. Grande might find the assassination of Shinzo Abe in Japan interesting. The killer, Tetsua Yamagami, had an unusual motive. His mother was affiliated with the Unification Church of Korea (Moonies), and had given the family fortune to the church, leaving Yamagami with little education or opportunities. The killer is receiving sympathy in Japan, as this church is notorious for wringing large donations from members.

She's on trial for running down two little boys that were crossing the street with their family, she carried one of the boys on the hood of her car for a hundred yards until he flew off, both little boys tragically died and she fleed the scene only to stop when her Mercedes with front end damage and airbag deployed stopped automatically, she's claiming to be innocent, she's very wealthy and people that are following the cases afraid she's going to get away with drunk driving and street racing. I believe her delayed trial is scheduled to begin September 15th 2022 in thousand oaks California. Thank you

I lived in NE when Sydney was murdered. We were all extremely broken hearted when the news of her disappearance and murder occurred. There was a stretch of time from Sydney’s disappearance to when her body was found. We were all looking for this young lady. What made matters worse was Aubrey and Bailey’s online video’s where they claimed to not be involved. It was a mockery. Sometimes your gut tells you the truth. We knew they were guilty. After a stretch of time, Sydney was found and Aubrey and Bailey were arrested. News of their trials and this horrific murder were a daily occurrence. You just couldn’t escape the news. Everyone was talking about this. We were all pleased with their convictions, although Aubrey’s behavior in court was atrocious. Now, that this is in the past, this story often sets me back. That feeling I would get during the whole ordeal, still upsets my gut. I can’t imagine being Sydney’s mom.

There is no one that is more informative, funnier, or original on KZbin than you, Dr. Grande! Most talk about the same cases, offering no new info . You always keep me intrigued, laughing, and fascinated in every video! "The importance of enunciation..." 😆 I cringe at the way people pronounce certain words, not taking the time to enunciate like they're simply too busy to use 3 more seconds to enunciate. My biggest pet peeve, is misuse of words like to vs. too or lose vs. loose....aarrggghh!! Life is hard out here for an English major, 😉😬 I'm suddenly questioning my grammar 😳, lol, please overlook any mistakes. I'm working morning rounds while being a definite night person and I've become addicted to your nightly videos, so that's my excuse 😊 Thanks again for another awesome , albeit sad, video! So bizarre and cruel. I wondered why you delayed suggesting a motive. Deep breathing to prevent tossing my biscuits. ONLY Dr.Grande could possibly tell me this story. He is so gentle and sensitive telling us about the most horrific acts a human being wants to and does on another human.

This is very off topic, but I watch a lot of your videos, because I'm interested in how to interact with others and how to recognize issues with myself. Following that thread, How do you mental health professional's recognize your own undesirable traits. As a group, how successful are you in improving them? Seems like knowing your process might be insightful to those of us outside your profession.

Therapy...most therapists have been in therapy at some point. It's recommended. Also, unless a therapist is working for themselves, they are supervised and cases/personal issues pertaining to clients are discussed with other professionals who may point out issues.

Good job by her friend finding the chick on tinder. I read she made a new profile and just kept swiping left till she found her then swiped right, messaged her and got her phone number then gave it to police. I guess Sydney showed her a picture at one point. Great work.
