I think attractiveness disparity played a role in the jury’s light sentence. Because he was unattractive, the jury not only believed but, more importantly, gave much weight to his story that Michelle abused him. It's sad that the perception he ended up with about himself as reflected his whole life by the people around him, made him ugly on the inside. Breaking things off without killing a partner is already the "norm", though. It is very much normalized. What isn't normal is being obsessed to the point that killing an ex partner crosses another person's mind. Even if someone couldn't fathom killing a partner, letting someone else consume every aspect of your life is incredibly unhealthy. We also hear stories of men and women who take their own life after their partner simply decides to break things off. People need to have boundaries and self awareness enough to not allow themselves to be engulfed by another. I do understand that sometimes people realize just how unwell they are mentally only after they've been involved in an intimate relationship. And some people are so far gone that they never fully realize that what they did was immorally wrong. It's unfortunate.

I was there when this happened. A friend of mine lived on the property right behind where this took place. Around the time that this was going down, we would hang out near on the porch towards the back of the property, which would be facing the area where Kelly would eventually be buried. We remember hearing strange noises, but attributed them to the fact that sometimes kids would find their way into that area to drink, play paintball, or screw around. It wasn’t until a while after the investigation took place that we pieced everything together. It was eerie.

As a former heroin addict in recovery this case makes me physically ill. I spent a decade in a relationship with a violent and abusive man who, incidentally, was the person who introduced me to heroin, knowing that I was three years clean from opiates at the time (not making excuses for myself, I chose to try it - but I had no access to it, at least in the beginning, except through him). I had recently gone back to him, after spending three months in a domestic violence shelter, when he brought it home for the first time, and I've always thought he was using it as a means of controlling me and preventing me from leaving again. Sure enough, I spent another seven years trapped in that hellish relationship. He was a vicious and severely mentally ill individual who had been diagnosed with delusional disorder by a court-appointed psychiatrist; one night, towards the end of the relationship when it had become clear I was planning on leaving for good, he told me he was going to stab me in my sleep, cut up my body into several pieces, bury me all over the state, and then tell the police and everyone else that I had relapsed on heroin and disappeared. I left with a single suitcase two days later, because I've read and watched enough true crime to know that when a person starts telling you they're going to stab you in your sleep, you should probably believe them. I am horrified that my nightmarish close call became reality for this poor woman. To this day, even though I am in long-term recovery...a recovery I fought and clawed for and that I put above literally _everything_ else in my life...I still fear that if anything were to happen to me, the first thing police would say is "Oh, she must have just fallen off the wagon." I agree with Dr. Grande - his pathetic attempts to smear her character after brutally murdering her is, for sure, nothing short of hideous.

I don't see the problem as the attractiveness disparity. I thought his major problem was the socially awkward, strange and weird qualities. These qualities certainly manifested when he abandoned his wife and child because he couldn't handle being a dad, preferring to run back to his parents and having parents who would allow such a thing. If a woman decides she doesn't want to be a mother, gets an abortion, and then after the fact, regrets it, are you saying she doesn't have the right to change her mind? Of course not. By that logic, OF COURSE a man can change his mind about that, even if it's years later, and he can prove it by trying to mage amends to the kid. In the case of the woman with the abortion, however, no such amends are possible, because that kid doesn't exist. Get over yourself. You aren't the arbiter of what any person besides YOURSELF might do in any given situation, and how YOU might do it isn't necessarily the right way. My guess is she had been told how beautiful she was her whole life, resulting in her thinking she was better than other people, that she was a good catch etc. Only to find out otherwise. I disagree Dr. Grande. There is another option. Beautiful people are often the victims of discrimination by people who perceive themselves as less attractive. I've seen this many times. It's a low self esteem on the one who perceives themselves as less attractive that causes the problem. They hate the beautiful one and want to kill them. I've seen it.

Yeah, I've seen this. Some insecure people want someone better than them but have no idea how to handle that. So they project and emotionally abuse or whatever else. Some women think that by going for a guy that is less conventionally attractive or successful, that guy will have a better personality. When in reality, a guy can still have a crap personality and be ugly on the outside, it's not like it's mutually exclusive.

Sadly, people tend to feel sorry for murderers for a variety of reasons. One of them is that these sympathetic souls have seldom have watched the murder happen -- seen the blood gush from horrible wounds or heard the desperate and agonized screams. And while they often get to know the murderer well, at least on a surface level, the victim is dead and gone, silenced forever: an abtraction rather than someone who's vibrantly real.

I think a key element is that Mark did not adjust well to being a father. This could be because Mark wanted a good looking partner, but he didn't want a family life with her. Having a trophy wife he could show off might have made him happy, but being a husband and having two kids to deal with might not have been what he wanted. I would be willing to bet the pregnancy wasn't his idea. But if he is really that socially awkward, he might not have understood that using birth control was in his best interest. If he left it up to her, she might have wanted to have his child in the mistaken belief that it would secure their family life together. That would explain why he left. His friends might envy him for having a good looking wife, but they wouldn't envy him if he's stuck at home being a dad.

I am an ugly person. One day at about age 25 I took a good look at myself in the mirror and decided that I should not ask any girl to consider a relationship with me. It would be unfair to pass my genes on to another generation. I decided that some people are cut out to work hard and others are good lovers. I thought that trying to trade my ability to gain cash for faux love whould not be a fair trade. A trophy partner who would be happy to spend the money, have a toy boy and treat me as a cash machine is not good economics. It is one thing to have a broken heart but quite another to have a pretty ex partner take all my assets away or even murder me for it.

[ADVICE] MY-PHILOSOPHY: "INNER-STRENGTH" I have found that simply "loving myself" (inner-child) is a powerful tool against most types of social-dependency/vulnerability. Example: In my mind, I visualise a picture of my younger self (family albums might help). And I 'remember' what the emotion of genuine love felt like. And then I project those emotions onto the mental visualization of my younger self. I meditate and hold that 'state of mind' for as long as I can. The result? I feel my conscious energy resignating with positivity and renewed strength. And my anxiety immediately evaporates away. At the very least, depending on my levels of anxiety, this mediation practice aids to 'evaporate' much of it. You can do the same thing with "trying to 'remember' temperatures, e.g. hot or cold. And then project that memory onto a visualised heat source (all within your minds eye). You will 'feel' the effects immediately." I hope this proved helpful.

MY-PHILOSOPHY:"INNER-STRENGTH" I have found that simply "loving myself" (inner-child) is a powerful tool against most types of social-dependency/vulnerability. ............................. "Evil" is the antithesis to the virtue: 'humanity'. Humanity is the characteristic that defines the human spirit. Humanity is symbiosis across humans and society. 'Humanity' exceeds 'social-darwinism'. ............................. NEURO-PERSONALITY ............................. "SENSORY-FEELERS" ARE LARGELY RESPONSIBLE FOR SPREADING DISINFORMATION AND HATE TOWARDS ENTJ/INTJ (AGAINST "THINKERS" IN GENERAL)-BOTH IRL AND ON THE INTERNET; DESPITE THOSE NEURO-PERSONALITY TYPES BEING A BLESSING TO SOCIETY AND ALL OF MANKIND! THEY DESERVE BETTER! 😤 'ESFJ', 'ESFP', ISFP and 'ISFJ' are a pathogen to humanity, and 'then' Cluster-B (depending on their neuro-personality). THEIR "FEELINGS 'IS' THEIR REALITY", THEY ALSO HAVE A MALICIOUS-MIND BY DEFAULT (low 'mirror-neurons' results in "SOCIOPATHIC-FEELER"; full of pathological hate, and highly chaotic). WHAT'S MORE, DESPITE HAVING MALICIOUS INTENT THEY ARE ALL EMOTIONALLY-WEAK AND PRONE TO COVERT/VULNERABLE-NARCISSISM (ISFJ especially; they impersonate and spread hate towards genuine INFJs). ............................... Also... To intelligent readers (who do 'not’ have a ‘pathological disregard for rationality and reality'). I recommend researching 'narcissistic personality disorder' (NPD) / 'cluster-B'; and know that they are the 'root of all evil' (especially 'ESFJ/ESTJ-narcissist'; Myers-Briggs reference, look it up)! European 'ESFJ' are the worst personality type, and they are responsible for inventing 'racism' and colonization! It is in their neuro-psychology!!! They are extremely 'manipulative' and often use 'looking pretty' to distract others from the witch's mind-games / mind-r@pe, e.g. gaslighting, playing the victim/damsel in distress, creating "flying-monkeys", and 'bribing' others (with money or BJ) to attack, or at times, kill someone for her. When caught, she will use her minions as scapegoats. European ESFJ are notorious for this especially in a racist context, e.g. Emmett Till. xSFP and ISFJ (2W1) are the most complicit, narcissistic-enablers. ISFP also tend to be 'oblivious-codependents' (look up the definition). Like ESFJ, XSFP's "feelings 'is' their reality." Most are covert/vulnerable-narcissists. ISFJ often perceive things only on the surface level (even by sensor standards), are suckers for a “pretty face", and their neuro-psychology makes them the ideal narcissitic-codependent and pawn to the ESFJ (blind-loyalty, surface level perception, susceptibility to covert-narcissism). Lastly, ISFJ are notorious for impersonating other people's identities IRL and on the internet; while ESFJ-9W1 superficially appears like an ENFJ, they have different 'neurology' and psychology. Both XSFJ are superficial by nature and perceive reality at face-value/surface level. SUMMARY Evil personality: 'ESFJ' (ALL), ESTJ (Cluster-b), ISFJ-2W1 (covert-narc/enabler). ESFJ-9W1 superficially resembles ENFJ; different 'neurology' and psychology. [Secretly] Evil and narcissist-friendly gunts/flying-monkey: ISFP (ALL), ESFP (ALL), and ISFJ (2W1 enable ESFJ). Narcissitic-codependents. ☝️ALL of them are secretly emotionally-disturbed, hence their need to create conflict as a distraction (at other people's expense, truly evil). Spread the word! Thank you. ___________ Research ref: Raudha Athif, Ghislaine Maxwell, Marilyn Monroe, Karen, ESFJ-narcissists, ESFJ-neurology, Gaslighting, Amber Heard, Fake feminism, Rising of a shield hero (Malty-'ESFJ'; XSFX spread disinformation online. FEMALE-ATTRACTION/ATTRACTION/ROMANTIC-ATTRACTION/FEMALE-PSYCHOLOGY/HOW-TO-ATTRACT-FEMALES/FEMALE-MANIPULATORS/MANIPULATE-FEMALES/FEMALE-DATING-FEMALES Answer: 1) 'Emotional Appeal'; how you make a female "feel" is the key to her everything. Give her 'emotional-thrills' via manipulation. 2) Physical Attraction; even this is connected to emotional appeal/attraction. Both points connect the strange stereotype between women "fucking" psychopaths, "bad-boys"; and ESTP/Chad, ENFP, etc. [I strongly believe that most women cannot differentiate between the sensation of "emotional-thrills" (including 'lust') and [genuine] "love"]. Love-definition. What is "love"? Answer: Excessive humanity for an individual. Since most women are emotionally immature (they are good at masking it; do not confuse the two), they are exceedingly susceptible to emotional manipulation/exploitation. Since society over-values and over protects the human female, the female can afford not to develop their sentience, intelligence, emotional residency and self-control. This makes them both unintelligent/narcissitic and emotionally-vulnerable. Of the MBTI, most females are "feelers" and unintelligent-feelers, i.e. "sensor-feelers" (population density), no less. They are more vulnerable to this realization/exploit, i.e. that physical attraction and emotional manipulation (via "thrills") is the key to attracting the female. NOTE: Most women monitor and prey on the emotions of a man. They attempt to corrode the emotional resiliency of a male child; thus making the male child susceptible to her "whining", narcissitic-complaints (self-serving and emotionally abusive [whims]); psychological manipulation via emotional abusing their sons will make them a dull, and disposable pawn (who exists solely to serve women and lay down their lives, as thought and conditioned via social norms). _

You nailed this análisis 💯totally agree. My ex (an Arian german man) married a very dark-skin Afro-American woman and had 2 kids with her. He triangulated, cheated on her and mistreated her as much or even worst than he did with me. He was very handsome on the outside, but his inside was evil and twisted to the core, she on the other hand was some years older and not attractive at all, but seemed quite nice and very agreeable. I remember when he once told me that she adored him like a God and that their two kids had lighter skin thanks to him and that they are treated better than darker skin kids by his wife’s own family. I was left speechless 😶 . I thought that race- mix couples weren’t racist, but this story proves it wrong. Needless to say that for him to marry a woman of color was obviously giving him tons of narcissistic supply, specially by that woman herself and her family which adored him like a God for the simple fact of being a white Arian German dude. So yes, more often than not when you see big difference in attractiveness is usually linked to some sort of dysfunction in romantic relationships.

The cautionary lesson here is choose who you associate with wisely.

I think people usually are attracted to someone who is similar to them in looks, finances, age etc. I watch another psychologist on you tube and he says men only care about how young and beautiful a woman is and women don't care at all about looks only a man's wallet, but I have never found this true. I read a quote; you don't attract what you want, you attract who you are. I think this is more accurate.

@@cathyosullivan718 I dated a model once. It was boring. I would have no problem taking care of the finances solely if she participated in budgeting and fulfilled other duties or work in the partnership. Even if you would say a most simple word, he would ask in a really dumb sounding, long drawn out voice "Whaaaaaaat's thaaaaat meeeeeeean?". Ugh no, that is unbearable. Had another very attractive looking guy on first (and last - I walked out midway through) date who told me (I met him when I lost my purse, and he handed it in) "I took your purse, but then I realised who it belonged to so I gave it back", and also gave tales on how he steals women's handbags. It will absolutely be a divorces financial settlement and custody battle, this is ALWAYS why this happens, mostly men as the perps, (when women kill their kids it is more for selfish reasons that they want the responsibility of children gone), that is always the straw that breaks the back of these psychos. Chances are he lost custody, 95% of fathers become secondary custodians. Their logic for the act is that 'if you take my kids away from me, I will take them from you' which enacts revenge. They see the children as possessions and not human beings so it's the whole 'if I can't have them, nobody will'. It highlights an extremely distorted view of other human beings, that the soul of others is irrelevant, it doesn't exist. They are monsters
