People don’t realize how innovative Tom green was. The dude was so ahead of his time it was unreal. He had a KZbin channel before KZbin was ever created (the Tom green show)...He had a podcast before podcasting was a thing. He was popular of course but I don’t think he gets the credit he deserves for doing what he did back in the day. Dude should be recognized as a legend.

Yes TV at its rawest. A couple guys on youtube have about 15 full very early episodes each (or more maybe) and Tom has about 2 for his members on his youtube. I know they made about a thousand hours but I just watched all the ones I could just recently. Plus Poolside Chats and other shows from his house. So I'm just watching for the very first time. So as you must know a lot of them had Stevo in them. And the two of them would go out afterwards too. I just watched the 4 hour one where Carson videotaped the two of them as they got loaded and ended up puking in his living room at the very end shot after Tom downed mustard and Stevo downed Italian dressing. A race. They were great together. Drunk or not, just two guys living it up. Every episode that I saw was great TV. The chaotic energy was amazing. Nothing like it ever before or after. Not for everyone though I guess. What some people called amateurish I thought had a crazy good tangible energy to it. You could feel the chaos in every moment. It's a shame he removed all of them himself. If you ever come across his 6 hour 38th birthday episode let me know. I need to see that legendary episode.

@@CaliWilderness no they're not completely non existent. Almost. I watched the whipit 4 hour one last week. Stevo puking at the end when Tom ate the mustard and he downed the salad dressing and Carson videotaping the whole thing. Carson cancelling his dinner engagement in front of us to do so. Lol Only 2 guys have handfuls of full episodes each. 20 to 30 maybe combined out if the 1000 hours Tom says he has. Checkout Teen Idol and Shane. They also have poolside chats.

His first episode was in 1994. It was in Downtown Ottawa and he was interviewing ppl with pork chops taped to his head. I knew then and there he was going to be a star. From the skit of the pimpmobile to the subway sub. I think I went to at least 30 shows. This man is so underrated and unappreciated for what hes done in his career. He is a genuine person and I remeber meeting Tom, Glen, and Phil snowboarding. He treated me like one of his buddies. Never say anything bad bout my Hometown hero.

Tom Green was the real OG for MTV shows and you can see his influence Billy Eichner like Billy of the Street is sort of like the man on the street bits that Tom would do. Almost like vlogging! Of course the podcasting too! he seems to have a lot of firsts.
