@agitatedmongoose3 жыл бұрын
Yes TV at its rawest. A couple guys on youtube have about 15 full very early episodes each (or more maybe) and Tom has about 2 for his members on his youtube. I know they made about a thousand hours but I just watched all the ones I could just recently. Plus Poolside Chats and other shows from his house. So I'm just watching for the very first time. So as you must know a lot of them had Stevo in them. And the two of them would go out afterwards too. I just watched the 4 hour one where Carson videotaped the two of them as they got loaded and ended up puking in his living room at the very end shot after Tom downed mustard and Stevo downed Italian dressing. A race. They were great together. Drunk or not, just two guys living it up. Every episode that I saw was great TV. The chaotic energy was amazing. Nothing like it ever before or after. Not for everyone though I guess. What some people called amateurish I thought had a crazy good tangible energy to it. You could feel the chaos in every moment. It's a shame he removed all of them himself. If you ever come across his 6 hour 38th birthday episode let me know. I need to see that legendary episode.

I remember one time during the webovision days when Tom went over to visit Steve-o at his condo. Steve-o was still having a hard time with drugs and Tom had brought him a birthday card. Seemed like a nice moment of a friend checking in on a friend.

Tom Green is right up there with Andy Kaufman in my opinion. So underappreciated.

Steve o, you're such a sweet, genuine person. I knew you were special, even back in the early Jackass days. Since your sobriety, you have exceeded my expectations. Regardless of your fame status, I wish I had you as a friend.

Tom Green was one of the first dudes I saw podcasting. I don't even think it was called podcasting at the time, but he was doing it
