Best part in warrior has to be the hotel scene with broken down Nick Noltey and Tom Hardy FINALLY comforting his father after much built up anger. Both actors give an outstanding performance, loved it!

The trainer seems like a really nice guy. I wish I had someone like him as my personal trainer.
@Crichjo3210 жыл бұрын
I wish I had a personal trainer like this guy. Someone who has all the knowledge, and can analyse and push you to your goals. Every time I have a sudden workout obsession, it usually only lasts a couple of weeks before I get bored of it or just too tired. If I had someone to constantly make me go to the gym, I would get pretty ripped like Mr. Hardy.

Bullshit!
@seanbratliff79 жыл бұрын
77EmCee I agree with you. To go to the gym every time and eat the thousands of calories a day takes dedication. I just need to look in the mirror to understand that the gym got me here and will continue to keep me here

stop being a big gay lazy baby and just do it you woman no thats an insult to women because most women arent as ridiculous as you
@goodgirlkay9 жыл бұрын
bertsimpsan Umm...the gays work out like crazy. Go walk down West Hollywood or Chelsea in NYC. You will see gay men in tip top shape. It is the average straight man that will let himself go and end up with beer gut.
@jessicasmith33809 жыл бұрын
bertsimpsan KZbin did nothing to cause offence. You speak as though you look down on women, and as though they are weak or pathetic, using "woman" as an insult. Your mother must have set a pretty pathetic example for you then ey? Well, cockhead - not all women are pathetic and weak - regardless of what your mother has lead you to believe.

I have no idea how I get here. I was looking for Tom Hardy movies. But... This trainer here, he explains it better then every trainer in my life does. Food intake people, watch your diet. And interval training makes you burn more fat and pack on muscle, it takes your body 48 hours to heal after a good interval training. Mix it up with a bit of running and weights, commit to it, dont expect results fast, it's not just your body you're changing, it's your entire life. And that makes your body healthy and makes it look healthy as well.

a prime example of calisthenics and how effective your body weight can be for your workouts. you don't need a gym or a weight set to build a muscular physique, you just have to be creative and consistent with your training. props to these guys.

Patrick is my brother. Our father is a Grandmaster in the Martial Arts. Patrick is very well trained in quite a few arts and in body building training and isometrics. His skill level is exceptional. Tom and Patrick are very good friends if not best friends... Patrick will be staring in a movie very soon. I believe the trailer is on KZbin as well. Nice job to both of them. Love you bro!

Tom used personal Trainer/ ex -marine Patrick Victor Monroe (P-nut) to guide him to bulk up for his roles as Bane, Tommy Conlon in Warrior and Bronson. They used a method of working out referred to as signalling, working out little but often throughout the day, not bringing the muscles to failure but rather teasing them and? keeping under tension throughout the day thus building muscle much faster than doing a half arsed split routine for an hour a day in the gym, I recently put this to test TBC
@rumor-9363 жыл бұрын
7 years too late, but how did the method work out?

@@stutrol Dude those results are insane. So three 20 minute exercises a day? If I may ask, as silly as it is, how practical would it be while working a full time job? And how far apart were the workouts? Thanks for the quick response man, I appreciate it. I was worried I was going to have to wait years for one.
@stutrol3 жыл бұрын
@@rumor-936 no worries man, I mostly got away with doing 3 sessions a day rather than 4. It can be tasking with a full time job but I used to do the morning, go to work, come home do another session then do a session just before bed. It’s manageable and it’s low volume so not exactly tasking but seems to work a treat.

this with walking on an empty stomach for 45mins every morning keeps the fat stripped away and these 20 min signalling workouts are all bodyweight exercises and a few that use 2 8kg dumbells. Guys and girls believe me it is absolutely possible as i have proved to myself to pack on muscle in a short time frame.if, you do it correctly...remember time under tension, shorter rest periods and train intelligently, Tom's trainer Patrick says it all in the vid. Dont be sceptic just do it! xx

I don't have any problem believing they got that big in only 5 weeks. I bet they eat a lot better than I was as well. Protien shake after workout, oatmeal and eggs for breakfast. Chicken breast and sweet patato for lunch, steak/fish/chicken/turkey with sweet potato/russet potato and mixed veggies for dinner.

The one where his belly is up is called a bridge and the one where his belly is down is called a tripod. wrestlers do them all the time to build neck strength and flexibility.
@jasonic200710 жыл бұрын
DONE!
@33hegemon11 жыл бұрын
Neck bridges. You need to progress slowly into these, beginning on your knees and after a few weeks, when you've built up strength in your neck muscles, progressing to feet on the ground. If you try these without adequate neck strength, you could cause serious damage to your neck muscles and nerves, so be careful. I do think this exercise is one of the reasons Tom Hardy has such immense traps though!
@cmMoon11 жыл бұрын
yea they really are.....when I trained for brazilian jiujitsu and mma we did them on a regular basis.....the biggest issue for most people is actually just be ok with the face you are on your neck like you said......kind of like a backflip, alot of people can physically do them but the mental aspect messes them up

well, muscles need a fuel source and carbs are excellent for that, go complex and simple (complex for pre workout, a mix for during and simple for after, but not that much for after as an insulin spike is said to hamper the growth hormone) its mainly to make the job easier IMO, i was a big 300lb blob and im now down to 215 and i sorta look like the bronson figure (going for his bane look then warrior next) I would honestly just do what u want, if it work keep at it, if it doesnt change it.
