Frilled dragons make amazing pets. They almost never bite and the bite doesn't feel like anything anyways. They just flare up to look aggressive and then you pick it up and it just accepts it lol.

It's amazing the range of personalities. Same with birds. I never thought I'd want a parrot or chameleon till I saw the personalities these animals can have. What is helpful for me is having a smaller cage for my cham and one for my parrots to have them in outside for UV exposure. That way I don't have to worry about them and can go make lunch or something for 15 mins. I always put a towel over a portion of the cage or only half in the sun so they can choose to go in the shade just in case.

Not hating or anything but the frilled dragon actually kinda look like Dilophosaurus from Jurassic Park and World 😂😂😂
@dannyphantom121Ай бұрын
Where do u think they got the inspiration from? There’s no scientific evidence that Dilophosaurus had a frill.
@dannyphantom121Ай бұрын
Jurassic park is Hollywood, not a science documentary. Also we know Raptors were covered in feathers and were very colorful like birds. T rex had extremely good eyesight and sense of smell 100 times better than a bloodhound. Also Dinosaurs didn’t roar, they were not mammals or reptiles. They shared a common ancestor with reptiles. Raptors were not cold bloodied, they were warm bloodied and there feathers were to keep them warm.

Man how do we get rid of mites ?! They eat away the frill rite ? I have a full grown female and she really went down hill and I’m almost getting ready to surrender her I don’t want her to die but I seen your video and figured it must be mites I need to combat them asap!
@Tommys_reptiles5 ай бұрын
Hey I have had them with a Frilly before. I usually soak them in water with the animal safe dawn dish soap or olive oil. I soak them for around 20-30 mins while I use a Q-Tip to remove the mites from the lizard’s body. It usually takes a couple days of soaking them for 20-30 mins to get all the mites. Then I put them in a sterile enclosure on white paper towels until I know the mites are gone. Once their soak is over I rinse all the soapy or olive oil water off of the Lizard. I hope this helps if you have any other questions I’d be happy to try to help more. Good Luck!
