On the positive side, it creates dynamic targets for the boxer.* 01:06:28 🎯 *MIT work requires zoning in on specific spots for punches, enhancing reactive training. It adds a level of unpredictability compared to the heavy bag.* 01:10:54 🎯 *Cons of MIT work often stem from trainers not doing it right. Keeping it realistic, using proper form, and creating realistic targets are essential for effective MIT training.* 01:11:47 💪 *Good MIT work provides a confidence boost, making the boxer feel good and enhancing overall performance.* 01:12:40 😄 *MIT work is enjoyable and fun, making it one of the most enjoyable aspects of boxing training.* 01:16:21 🔄 *MIT work allows for punch variety, working on punches like uppercuts and body shots that might be challenging on a heavy bag.* 01:17:40 🎯 *MIT work provides a condensed and realistic target size, allowing for more accurate training compared to other equipment.* 01:18:10 🥊 *The wrecking ball or tea drop bag is praised for its softness, enabling hard punches with less impact on hands, shoulders, and elbows.* 01:20:37 ⬇️ *Cons of the wrecking ball include difficulties in rolling underneath, and limitations in practicing realistic body shots due to its size and height.* 01:21:06 🎯 *The wrecking ball provides a big target, particularly for body punches, but its size can also be considered a disadvantage.* 01:21:34 🥊 *Conor McGregor used the wrecking ball for training before his fight against Floyd Mayweather, highlighting its effectiveness in professional preparation.* 01:22:03 🥊 *Hitting the speed bag can be satisfying, but it requires proper technique. The key is to stay close to the bag, ensuring control and avoiding loss of precision.* 01:22:31 🔄 *When trying the speed bag for the first time, standing closer ensures better control, preventing the bag from going off course.* 01:23:01 🥊 *The video suggests watching the next one for a comprehensive guide on throwing punches correctly, providing viewers with essential knowledge about individual punches in boxing.* Made with HARPA AI

I think it would be great for someone to make a camera system for watching you hit the punching bag and knowing the bag's weight and observing the change in momentum could display your total strike power. It could also be able to tell the speed of the strike from the moment related movement began until the initial impact. This could be a great training tool for all.

Love your vids. awesome. I've been using home made reflex balls attached to baseball caps worn backwards for a few months and train with the slip line at the same time. It's awesome. The lighter ball is very fast as it doesn't stretch the elastic very far. The hard ball is easier. I'm putting in elbows and hooks using lateral movement. It's so much fun you don't even notice an hour fly by of constant punching.

well you need to spar otherwise all your technique will go out the window when you get in the ring. Hitting bags is nothing like a moving person. Sparring is the best teacher it shows you if all your training will actually translate into the ring with an actual trained boxer. You're not complete without sparring

Top and bottom ball is really useful to stop the heavy handed big lads (that'll be me) loading up and telegraphing back hand shots. I'm an amateur coach and I'll always get my boxers to keep their guards up, and move their feet after every combination on any bag until they are proficient and only then will I let them set their feet. I never let my boxers use the double ended bag flat footed. Heavy bag, maybe.

Alternatives don't adjust to varying height requirements and are all too short. I've researched into having an adjustable ratchet for the bottom, but the decent ones seem to come from America, the one I order from the UK went straight in the bin. I can't source what I need but you've got exactly what we need, I can see adjustable holes all through the rubber. Please advise, thanks.

Speaking from an Oldskool Martial Arts perspective. Why do modern Boxers use full size Boxing Gloves to hit the bags, rather than bag mitts or gloves, as I remember from back in the day?
