It can seem hard to cultivate an abundance mindset when you are living paycheck to paycheck and the bank account is empty. But did you know that this is actually one of the best times to start believing in abundance? Timothy Ward breaks down what to do if you want abundance in your life, but think you are too broke.

Abundance begins with minimalism. So just having the essentials or just a little, you're already there. Your mindset has to catch up! Then the next level is creativity or being more creative. Creativity as fulfillment. And this will mean exploring yourself. And that's the adventure and the joy and the healing. Less money goes out and the saving becomes financial abundance.

If you want big legs, do squats. If you want big abundance, do gratitude. I'm poor af (mostly by choice because I refuse to chase after money) I'm rich with time and freedom though. Last week i was in line at the food bank. It was hot as balls! A breeze blew and the woman behind me started thanking god. My heart broke for all the people with teslas and million dollar homes who haven't appreciated a breeze or a sunset in decades😢 it was in that moment one of my rich homies hit me up for yoga lessons at $150 an hour🤑😂 Also, security is a lie, and if you chase it you'll miss abundance completely 😉

I love your comment on abundance. My son is at work, and time is dragging. I sent him this quote from you..."It's hard to grow abundance in negative soil. I think being able to put things into context is *very* important too. Days when I’m down and don’t have a dollar to my name are the days I remind myself that I at least *have* a bed to sleep in at night, a meal (even if small), clean drinking water, and my mental/physical facilities. Much less the extra stuff, a phone, TV, access to supermarkets etc. So many people in the world unfortunately wake up and go to sleep with even less than the clothes on their back. Fighting starvation, fighting sickness etc. With the only objective being, “make it another day somehow.” Do I want to improve my life, hell yes. But man, did I win the cosmic lottery to even have the time or capacity to be sitting here on my phone even contemplating the possibility. For that, I express my deepest gratitude to the universe

I agree. I recently went through a situation that I am slowly recovering from where I would have given up every possession I had for it to go away. I would have chosen to live in a box on the street to be pain free and it pained me to see healthy people complain about the same things I used to complain about. It all seemed so trivial to me and I realized what was the most important thing in life.

Took me years to understand the difference between a scarcity mindset versus abundant until I lived through both. My husband and I were grateful, and remained grateful for our circumstances ( journey) when God/Yah allowed us to see that others were in even worse financial situations than us and some were better. That was years ago and we are fine now, but I look back and thank God/ universe that it did not make us sour or doubtful. Yeah, some events we lived through was horrible but it doesn’t compare to lessons learned🙂

I've been poor in the city poor on the road been poor in the country for almost two decades now...compared to my successful suburban family however, I have an abundance of View. They look out their windows, they see other people's houses, tailored trees, and yards that to me resemble a green rug in both size and texture. In many ways I envy them then I think, Why? 😂 I have an abundance of Nature all around me all the time, and I like my abundance much better than theirs😁

I appreciated hearing your outlook on this issue. I'm an abundance over scarcity type. The money I accumulated from my previous job ran out so I'm currently starting over again. It hasn't been easy finding a second job and I'm in the early stages of cultivating some online side hustles. I just learned to cutback on things like going out and eating out in order to maintain and pay the bills. It's not easy but as an adult you have to learn the power of sacrifice. I also been broke plenty of times so I know how to survive and maintain with very little. It's just hard when your pay period is every two weeks as opposed to every week.

The industrialist walks by on his way to strike another zoning deal, when he passes a fisherman who’s napping under a tree after lunch. Industrialist asks, “Why aren’t you going back to work? If you can sell enough fish, you can buy more boats. With enough boats, you can hire more employees, and you can stop working and REALLY enjoy life, like me!” The fisherman replied: “I’ve already caught enough fish for today. What do you think I’m doing right now?” Perspective is absolutely everything. If you don’t have to wake up at 4 in the morning for back breaking labor just to have food for tomorrow; you are remarkably fortunate even by modern standards. If you can go to a doctor, you enjoy more security than half the people on planet earth. Perspective!!!

I can remember an abundance when my ex left me in a devastated state, the Lord which is whom I believe blessed me with abundance that was off the chain😇 my kids were young - I worked for the County temporarily but while there I planned to open my daycare- I made more $$$that made lots of sense which enabled me to move to a 7 BR home, with income to maintain business and be home with the younger kids. They’re grown now however that’s my feedback- Abundance for that time. Thanks Tim good video.

Beautiful topic, and beautifully addressed. Abundance isn't really about money, although that can be a form of abundance. I have always associated that word more with gratitude, joy and the ability to witness the incandescent in the seemingly mundane. It's what drew me to Taoism and paganism, the idea of experiencing that rush of true contentment just being. Just looking at the moon, just feeling a summer breeze, waking up without being sick or in pain when that was a struggle before, the way golden sunlight and a genuine smile can take your breath away...all abundance. Tuning into it all, being present to it, like a child, or those animals you see who were previously kept in labs when they first walk outside and look up to see the sky...that wonder, that feeling of wow...to me, that's abundance. And it's always there, for everyone. Lightness of being.

Agreed. Thank you for this video. When I became detached from material things and only had my car, it became easier to work on an abundance mindset at that point. I would journal daily, feel gratitude for each moment like the sunrise and sunset/being in nature felt abundant and therapeutic, I became more present in conversations with people, more in tune with my body and spiritual practice, I began to feel freer as a nomad, etc… At the beginning I felt horrible/like a failure as I’d been conditioned to perceive my circumstances - but the journey helped me shift and appreciate life in ways I never imagined and to rediscover MY values - not what others say we Should value. Joy, Rest, Play and Peace of Mind were at the top of this list for me.

Thank you, man. In my practice and life, I have found out that we mostly give ourselves tough conditions to like, love, and accept ourselves. On the other hand, life could be much better if we first look for and find love for ourselves which is the foundation of self-esteem. And when we have self-esteem, everything in life will be much easier. We get to have self-confidence, and we trust ourselves.

Appreciation in general is huge. Even if you’re broke, you can still appreciate the things you have now. What are some thing in your life that bring you happiness/appreciation? For me, it’s independence, the internet, coffee, etc…it doesn’t have to be money alone. And if it is just about money then you’ll have a hard time appreciating it unless you have a large amount, always, and even then you tend to want more

I'm 58. I've had ups and downs financially on MORE THAN ONE occasion. I'm naturally an optimistic person. I count my blessings. I have had real good ALONG with the bad. You'd be surprised what you can get through when you have to. There's people waking up in the world to ANOTHER DAY OF SURVIVING, Suffering in SHIT-HITS-THE-FAN east bumfuq. I'm thankful I'm here in America where I went to school, had a roof over my head provided by my single mom who worked to put food on the table. While I wished I seen her more, as an adult now, I have seen other countries that are not fortunate like we are. Children as young as 4 years old WORKING, digging clay, making bricks in 100+ degrees, JUST to help pay off their fathers debt that he borrowed when his wife was hospitalized. Indentured, modern day slavery. They NEVER pay off the debt because they live in the work camp, they have to pay to live there, they are never truly paid off. That's the way it is in 3rd world countries. If I were to go live in the woods HERE in America, I would STILL be living better than those children. THAT is poor.

Man I want to go to college but college tuition speaks volumes. This school system is rigged to the fullest. Abundance sounds good but I’ll probably have to pay tuition off for a huge portion of my life.

Ask the the Lord Jesus Christ to Bless you with Financial Abundance. Just say a pray. If you belong to him he will Bless you. He knows all your needs before you ask. But he wants to hear you ASK him🌿🌷🌸

Some of us don't have abundance of anything positive. Not money, family, friends, or love.

I'm not sure about a literal, universal law of abundance. I'm pretty sure that's mathematically impossible. But, by being aware of abundance and focusing on it, it trains your mind to alter its perception of reality. You will eventually start perceiving more and more abundance. I guess to put it as plainly as I can, if you choose to always see abundance, you will always have abundance.
