This is good to know. Previously I was very much like the 7% body fat guy. I thought I was around 10%, maybe a little lower but wasn't sure. This gives me confidence that my estimations are pretty accurate. I think I'm around 22% body fat right now but the plan is to get back down to around 12%-15% body fat over the next 6 months through a body recomp. I'm 3 weeks in and have lost 3lbs (1lb per week) whilst still getting stronger at the gym (after around 18 months of pure strength training) and currently weighing 240lbs. Great video Greg.

Started at 286 lbs back in late March. Today I am sitting at 199 lbs. I've taken up olympic weightlifting and I'm currently making my way to 150-160 (assessing as I go). The practical advice and the hammering in of calories in calories out helped a ton.

Good job man. I'm in a similar position I'm 230 lbs rn and started at 300 lbs except for me I'll be around 13% bodyfat at 190-200 so I don't need to go as low as you're going.

@@db4419 Started super slow. 20 mins of walking a day. Added 5 minutes every week until I hit 60 mins. Then I slowly started upping the speed and incline. Adding weight training 3x a week, and after about 200 days later, I'm in full swing and love every second of it.

The problem with me is that when I start cutting and losing fat, I get scared that I'll lose my gains and immediately start over eating. And when I start over eating I'm scared I'll lose my abs and start under eating. 😐

I swear... I'd be honored to be critiqued by Greg!!! I'm about 3 and a half months into to my one year fitness goal of 170lbs and single digit body fat! Currently I'm 50yrs old, 5'9 @150lbs. I'm not new to exercise but proper dieting is where I struggle the most!! Update: I too may have body dysmorphia. I'm cut af but I feel so tiny.

Greg, 3 years ago I was sitting at 184 lbs at 5’6” after being 250lbs. I wasn’t at my goal yet, but I looked and felt GREAT because I’ve been weight training since I was 15 and have put on a ton of muscle over the years. Over the past two years due to depression & the pandemic, I slowly gained weight and am now sitting at 230lbs. My strength has definitely increased, and I definitely have put on a few pounds of muscle-according to my latest Dexascan, my body mass Is approximately 63% muscle. Whether that’s true or not, idk. The problem is I can’t seem to lose weight now. When I first noticed I was gaining weight in 2020, I tried focusing on an anabolic diet and keeping carbs in, however, even while tracking my food and calories, I still kept gaining weight up until I was about 215lbs (from the initial 184lbs). The additional 15 lbs was definitely an increase in dirty sugar and carbs. Now, my diet is significantly cleaner, I’m back to incorporating consistent cardio (20min of stairs to start), my training is killer, but I am simply not budging. Even my sleep is better, my water intake is consistent, and I get proper vitamins and micronutrients. I lost weight before through Keto, training, and Stairs + Basketball. I really don’t think I can mentally do Keto again, but keeping any form of carbs in my diet seems to not be working since I know I’m extremely carb sensitive (Uncomfortable bloating, lethargy, spikes in insulin). The only thing I can think of is my hormones and insulin being out of whack. I truly am so stuck and it sucks /:

@@Laiika93 weight loss is more than jus caloric intake. I don't even eat 2000 calories most days; that doesn't even account for my daily weight training and 20min of cardio 3-5 days a week.

@@ChrisbeFoSeriousstill, i would suggest eating 200-300 less calories while keeping protein intake the same, keep track of the weight for a few weeks, adjust to health and feelings later

My favorite was pepsi because we are the most similar. I'm 5'1 31% body fat according to dexa but I want to get down to 21-25% percent and maintain. She has more defined shoulders and back than me tho. Thanks coach for the laser eyes. 👀

I like that you added a little tip in there. This is better than natty or nots. Your average user is going to be natty I think and usually over weight. I don't know the analytics or if you can even measure them, but I have to think at least minimum 60% are overweight watching your channel. You average view is not sub 15% bf trying to decide whether they should take gear. That is why these are better than natty or nots
