Firequackers, The Typical VP Maniac that's if people are on, you don't crash, don't get greened, the game doesn't go down, you don't get a buggy building, etc. i had all of these things happen pretty often (when i interacted with a certain other player i would crash, idk why). I did the entire task, but it took me, in total (not straight through lol) 28 hours. JOEY, FIX YOUR GAME.

Great video! I think this really sheds the light on how Lil' Oldman isn't all that bad. Personally, on any other toons that I make, I'm going to max at least 4 gags before I get to the Lil' Oldman tasks. That way, it won't take as long to do and I will be able to solo most of the buildings for the 20 4+ story building task.

Honestly, when I got it, It just felt like an invitation to roam free and take on as many buildings as I wanted. Helping the toons who needed it in Donald's Dock just felt really good to me. Once I finish the task, I'll help someone who is still on the task, then get my tasks and roam again. It's a nice change of pace, to be honest.

The best thing to have during that task is 1 or 2 buddies that are in need of gag training and are there just to screw around. I pounded the task out in 5 hours with a friend who was there for all 20 buildings. Got my level 6 gags in the process. Just find a diligent friend and it makes the task SO much easier. And when it was his turn, I helped him with it. Always repay good deeds, my friends.

I've actually always taken this view when discussing Lil Oldman. Back on the first days The Brrrgh was released, I remember we rushed the 20 4+ buildings so fast, we didn't even gag train. Essentially for me, it just boosted my throw up to birthday cake. However, back then, invasions weren't a thing. Nice video - hopefully it will help others realize the Lil Oldman tasks aren't as bad as everyone thinks.

james valcourt i got 70 lawbots in the brrrgh but i couldn't get LOM at the same time so i was pissed that i had to do the buildings twice sing TTR has few cogs per building in the brrrgh

It's 70 law bots in the brrrgh for 1 laff boost or 90 law bots anywhere for one laff boost (90 law bots is a task you get in the brrrgh)

The only thing that scared me about this task was not being able to find a group for each bldg. Luckily ToonHQ exists and people found my parties relatively fast but it was still hard waiting to get a group of 3-4 some times. Other than that the actual bldgs themselves were just fun TT gameplay.

I don't think it's that bad of a task. I honestly soloed like 15/20 buildings in Daisy Gardens and was totally fine. Plus I found Mr. Hollywood and Big Wig and Big Cheese invasions for the rest of the task, and did a mint for Robber Barons.

this is how i did 4+ cog bldgs: simple i went to invasion districts with low tier cogs like with 1-5 lvl at their lowest... and really good toons one or 2 with toonup, max lure, max sound , or high drop and trap... boom it made oldmans tasks a lot easier doing it that way!! like here i started a new toon because my main girl dog is around 100 laff so i wanted to make a new toon species when i made my boy croc so i went and looked and a tightwad inv had just started so i went to the brrrgh with 2 of my friends from my main with max laff and gags... we did 6 of them in the brrrgh during the inv because we did it smartly!!

What I did was train my gags while doing tasks in invasion districts in every single neighborhood, and once I got. New gag track, I'd go back to Toontown Central or Donald's Dock in easy invasion, and I would no move further in the task line or start the next neighborhood until I got the newest track up to level 3, and then I would just continue to try my best and do tasks in invasions, so the brrrgh wasn't really a hassle strength and gag wise. Plus I have trained other toons up until like 114 laff so I also know what I'm doing whenever I get to a certain area, especially the LOM tasks and Cog HQs.

I learned to appreciate Lil Oldman in Test Town because his task was far easier & my gags SUCKED when I got to DDL. Took me a little under a week to reach DDL tasks in Test Town, I sped through it as fast as I possibly could & in result of that, my gags were so poor. You need to learn to slowdown & focus on more than just passing a playground sometimes.

EXACTLY... I have tried to (nicely) tell some people on ttr about what gags to use during certain points in buildings and or factories and etc etc but they never listen. They're like "Oh I have played toontown since it came out I know what I'm doing." Oh really is that why I have to heal you every time one of the cogs hit you, like oml save some of these people please! but for me the lil old man task was easy on ttr because every chance I got seeing some toons crowded arounded bunch of buildings I'd just ask to join and it went a lot faster, but on ttf it took me like forever to pass that and not many people play it so I just quit going on.

I like doing the buildings as i find them fun i just hated trying to find them and getting a team together everytime. The other parts of the lil old man at the beginning is what i hated, finding a bunch of different boss cogs. I was really unlucky and didn’t get any of the invasions i needed and didn’t want to wait for them when I couldn’t do any other tasks in the mean time.

Loopy, although the max of xp from 20 buildings is 6000, it's not possible to get 300xp in one building unless you have your level 3s, or someone uses a restock.

I started grinding my gags when I had to deliver the whole cream pie in MML. After that, I maxed all my gags besides toon up. I was going drop less so when I got to the Brrrgh I was just working toward trap and leveling up toon up. I think I did the lil old man task in under two hours though because I so badly wanted trap. Anyways, TL;DR: try and max your gags out of MML or by the time you get to the Brrrgh. It's a lot easier.
