i’m good friends with a family friend of tony’s family. they went to our sister highschool. the kid is actually Tony’s cousin and the whole story is staged for views. restraining order was forged. not anything to seriously worry about but i still think this behavior is strange and nearly grotesque? not sure why he would fake a restraining order for views

Yeah, they definitely don't just drop off the restraining order like they do with other forms of legal service. In most states (Not sure about FL), the sheriff or officer of the court is required to go out and deliver a packet explaining the temporary injunction and formally serve the person. You are never confused about what's happening when a TRO is served.

As someone who is educated in childcare, there are many things that worry me about this content. However, I’m extremely worried about the normalization of excess alcoholic beverages infront of a kid. You’re having a kid watch some people beerbong infront of them and then they do that same thing with their caprisun. Since they are so young, they may see beer as an adult caprisun and start trying it.

I really doubt a child would see beer as one of their own kid drinks. Parents are usually smart enough to tell their kids, at any age, that the drinks they drink are only for adults and it tastes nasty for kids anyway. The smell of beer alone is enough to deter kids. It doesn't smell like regular fruit juices. It stinks like skunk scented water.

take it from someone who was neglected by their dad; i enjoyed all of my time with him from what i have memory of. he was the 'fun parent', which basically meant him putting me in situations that akid shouldn't have been in (while my mom wasn't as cool, because she actually watched out for us). just because the kid's having fun/likes tony, doesn't mean he's in good hands. good hands = a responsible adult in a kid's life.

I get this is fake and all, but the kid still is being put into inappropriate situations that he can't fully comprehend. Even if it is fake, even if he knows the family (and taking him outta school without notifying the parents is still kidnapping even if done by family), it's still a lot of grooming behaviour. The kid is still in inappropriate situations, the kid still won't understand every nuanced bit that adults like us can, and he's still being taken around and exploited in a way even if the kid is having fun. I'm glad some more stuff was talked about in this vid and I figured the situation was fake anyway since it was obvious, but that's still a very young kid that can't comprehend everything the way an adult can. It's still irresponsible and has grooming vibes to it even if it isn't intentional and if a lot of it is fake. It's not always fake to the kid when it comes to the relationship at all. I still just worry for the kid, I guess. It's not the worst scenario possible and not as bad ad the fake situation made it out to be, but it's still inappropriate and could harm the child in ways. Jarvis said it perfectly, even if everyone is okay with it, the kid can't consent to it or fully understand it. It just rubs me the wrong way entirely.

As someone who works in childcare, the teacher allowing “Timmy” to be picked up by someone who was unauthorised would be fired. To allow someone else to pick up your kid, you need to contact the school telling them who is going to pick up and when. they’ll require an ID as well as phone number (depending on the facility) there should NEVER be a time where a teacher allows a child to leave with a strange adult, even if the child recognises the person

resident person who's experienced in childcare - I worked in daycare which tends to be different from schools since they tend to have more kids to deal with but for us if someone new is to pick up a kid the parents/guardians need to tell us the name and who they are and then the new person needs to provide photo ID during pickup but when I was a kid (elementary school mid 2000s, literally grade 1) my mother forgot it was early dismissal so when she didn't show up I went to ask the office what I should do and they told me to walk home so there's a lot of range

The staff made sure to contact our parents if they were late and always kept an eye on us. The only times I was able to walk home was during 5th grade when my mom would msg or call me saying she’s still at work. I guess it really depends on your school. My middle school didn’t care about who picked us up and even forced us to walk out the back way past hundreds of cars full of strangers, which had led to creeps taking pics of students (one tried to get a pic of me and my friend but my mom thankfully scared tf out of them). Tony got so turnt that he forgot how to act in an appropriate relationship between an adult and a child. I want to assume Tony doesn't have any malicious intent, and nothing I've seen in his TikToks is noticeably illegal, but I still think some of the things he's doing look like grooming. Tony seems to like ducks and finding ways to get drunk more efficiently, a random kid probably wants to watch cartoons and play with toys; it's uncomfortable to see an adult who doesn't seem to have a clear reason wanting to spend so much time with a little kid he met by chance. Even if all of the really textbook worrying stuff (the kidnapping, the restraining order) is fake and the kid's guardians approve, etc., and I hope it is faked just to drive interaction, it's so bad to normalise this behaviour. Having a cool older brother who buys lots of gifts and gets you out of school is a kid's fantasy, the content isn't aimed at adults.

@@pissum420 i agree! i just gotta put respect on my man Jackie Coogan, he is the reason that child actors have any laws in place protecting any of their income. he was the first uncle fester in the black and white addams family series. his parents stole everything from him and he did his best to make sure it wouldn't happen to another kid. as soon as i started seeing the rise of vlogging like this, i knew there would be a wave of new coogan laws specifically for kids online, i'm not sure what they will look like but i know they're coming. but also, jeanette and every other child actor deserves justice for the bs ADULTS put them through for money. and child actors still need MORE protections, in my personal opinion. just, thanks to jackie they're guaranteed at least a portion of their earnings when they turn 18 lol.

this is a weird thing to point out on this video specifically, but thank you for adding closed captions to your videos. since youtube removed community captions, even really big creators i try to watch just have the autogenerated captions, which are distracting at best and completely inaccurate at worst. i'm not sure if you do them yourself or if you have someone to do them, but either way, thank you, it makes it a lot easier for people with hearing/other audio processing issues to watch. :-)

I am a teenager, and I can tell that an adult finding a "lost child" on the beach, who's been "missing for two weeks" and has parents, and trying to adopt said child is fake. When I first saw that initial video of Tony """finding"""" the kid, I was thinking it was staged and more stuff kept hapoening. I'm now unsure of how real or fake this all seemed. Either way, his audience is very divided on this subject. Half of them think that the parents are being ungrateful but the other half think that Tony is crossing serious boundaries (i.e. impersonating the kid's dad to take him out of school, taking the kid across State lines to go to crash a wedding, etc.) and the parents, having already lost their kid once, have every right to be wary of a grown man wanting to do whatever with their kid without their consent.

Fully believe that this kid is related to him, definitely in the cousin range, he's not close enough that you would see him regularly, but clearly related as no random person would let you film on their property nor take their kid, Also tony is terrible at Tellin stories, my only guess is that he said 2 weeks because he thought it sounded dramatic, but at best from how the kid looks if he wanted to make it more realistic, a couple hours, of course the entire thing is fake but point stands he could have tried you know Also willing to bet he knew those cops and asked for a favor and they didn't want to be identified on camera, or those cops were there for an entirely different reason and they made it seem like it was for the kid.
