Very helpful. I am going to get back into building with a software soon. I was using LDD but because it isn't supported, I am switching to Studio. I remember when I was using Studio in the past, I was kind of frustrated with it for many reasons. Maybe it was because I was used to LDD. This video will help out a lot. Thanks

Great video - I've been using studio for a few months now, and there were a few things in here that I didn't know. One question about tip 8, using import to bring in whole models - are those imported files linked to the orignal files, so that if you adjust the original, the imported version will update also? Is it it more like when you import you're making a copy of that file in it's current state? I'm currently desinging a modular castle comprised of different sections. I would love to be able to work on the individual files, and then have a master layout file containing all the sections which updates itself as I make changes to the individual sections.

Can you "re-load" an imported model? i.e. you import one, make changes to that model and then want to reload it with the changes? Great video, very helpful. Cheers
@zawzero2 жыл бұрын
No, because the "tip" he gave is total nonsense. It just groups together the imported to a submodel of individual bricks, once you double-click the imported model, you can edit any single brick (So much for saving processing power...) - This means it is just an "addition" import, not a proxy or reference or anything alike.

This is great! One problem I have though which I can’t seem to fix is, when I get a piece from the list and place it in my model, it keeps duplicating. Like at 1:51 (with the third jumper plate you place) it duplicates but you make it go away. How do you do that?

Hey I actually have a question... I actually saved my project which only consisted of 18 bricks. Then when I opened in my wanted list and was about to buy the bricks but when I selected a store only 9 bricks were like available???? How do I solve this problem. TQ
@MisterCasket2 жыл бұрын
That just means the seller didn't have every single piece you needed. If that was your top one seller, it means he had the most of what you needed. Sadly that means buying several pieces from different sellers.

Is there an undo button in studio, for Example you accidentally pull out a brick that in order to put it back you need to disassemble a bunch of bricks, so it there an undo button to reverse it?

Interesting video. It seems like a good program Bricklink studios. I'm thinking of the section CHECK PRICES AND HIDE BRICKS. Are the bricks inside BrickLink Studio free? Are you talking about bricks in real life? What are you refering to costing money? Just asking so I understand. Otherwise it seems good BrickLink Studios 🙂
