A Classic I had to wait decades to see the whole thing! One Christmas in the late 80's, I went to a Christmas party with my friends (in our mid 20's at the time) and someone had gone to every video rental place in town to find a copy of "Silent Night, Deadly Night".(made in 1984) On VHS, of course, that's all these was at the time. It was one of those movies a lot of people had heard of but very few had seen it, because it got pulled from theaters shortly after it's big screen release. Even a few years later, most chain stores like blockbuster would not stock it, but he eventually found it at a small independent store. So I was all excited to see it and like 5 minutes into the movie, one of my friends freaks out and says "This is too much, this is too gross, I can't watch it". A grown-ass adult could not handle a killer santa claus. And instead of that person going to another room, the host stopped the movie and wouldn't play it! I was so pissed off. I had waited like 5 years to see it, and because ONE person couldn't handle it, none of us could see it. I didn't get to see it until over a decade later when I bought it on Ebay.

black christmas (2006) is my favorite but i do acknowledge its pretty bad, but i remember being so obsessed with the trailer every time it played on tv. i was so obsessed with it that i was actually upset when some parts of the trailer werent even in the movie!! i just watched it again last night and im still haunted by the never before seen footages in the trailer!

I think that adaptation was trying to stay true to the book because most children's authors during the Victorian era wrote messed up children's stories. I mean... SLEEPY HOLLOW WAS A CHILDREN'S STORY! 😳.

Anna and the Apocalypse is fun as far as zombie slasher Christmas musicals go! I know-tons of competition on that genre. I’m not a huge Christmas movie fan but I love horror Christmas movies, so this list is great 😊
