If I do keto from Monday to Friday and weekends I consume moderate carbs(Not binging on carbs) or no keto ...then from Monday to Friday back to keto again.. is this safe ? Can I expect good weight loss ?
@YeshuaKingMessiah5 жыл бұрын
Gaurav Deep ketosis is a physiological state, not a fad. You cant willynilly go in and out of it. It takes time to get your body in this state. When you go out, you will be DAYS getting back into it. You will be LOWCARB but not in ketosis. You will spend all week getting back into ketosis and then on Sat, bam youre back out with your reckless intake. This will give you no fat loss.

Hello Doc, I have been on a keto diet for 6 weeks now, bought MTC Oil, Apple cider vineger, walk 3/4 times a week for an hour. I also do intermitting fast 16/8 for 2 weeks, then went to OMAD for 2 weeks. I only lost 2 kilos. Now I Am still on keto, but went back to 16/8 because I thought maybe my body was stocking food, I still dont lose weight, It Is such a frustration. I drink a couple of glass of wine 2/3 times a week, can It be that ? What am I doing wrong?

I could never lose weight before and keep it up, not to mention I was exercising ever day … now I just walk once in a while and I’m still losing weight . I had to add fruit but I usually have just strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, and cherries, which boosted my energy. Love this eating plan .

It seriously frustrates me that this isn't taught in Public School. It would have saved me so much pain, money and time. The costs of being over weight and unhealthy could have been avoided if I had known how the body works. This information is easily understood... why can't it be taught to children/teenagers? Thank you very much for sharing this information in such an "easy to understand" way.

Why would you expect a schooling system to teach you? Any time I ever got curious about something I read about it on my own and at times when (especially in college) I learned more that way than I did in the classes I was paying for, it was like they were suppressing Information and only letting basic, antiquated ideas trickle down. Last year I lost my mother to diabetes and heart disease and I have been trying to be more mindful about my own health and so now my 3 and 4 year old ask to watch Keto videos. They ask me to eat vegetables so I can live a long time. They understand too much sugar is not healthy. They pay attention when I don't eat after 6pm. I hope I can show them these healthy habits so they don't even have to think about it. This is a re-education for my whole family.

For whatever reason I lost 7 pounds this week after a tortuous 3 month stall. I got 5 pounds of grass fed hamburger and made burgers and vaccum sealed one burger/bag. I loaded up on pasture raised eggs. Butter of course. I gave up coffee and sweeteners. 7 pounds in one week! I also stressed over my defensive driving class and passed! I drink at least 100oz a day of no sugar all natural electrolyte water & I stay on top of my nutrition. I couldn’t fully fast without that! I love it because I’m so rarely hungry! The only cons have been a little tummy upset occasionally. The FIRST thing I noticed was reduced belly fat👏I lose an average of 2-3lbs a week easily & sometimes more. I’m in menopause & the struggle has been real as I’m doing ALL I can to keep off of hormone replacement😬 I’ve never had a belly until menopause & I swear Miss Pooch showed up overnight 😹😹😹

I am eating small enough amounts of real food Keto, that I am slowly losing weight without having to fast more than usual or go hungry or worrying about getting enough of this or that. The secret for me was to avoid grazing and drinking caffeine free and sugar free drinks between meals. If I want to have alcohol in the evening it comes after my small supper, trying to keep fasting times as long as possible sometimes I do not eat breakfast or delay it, cheers. Hello Dr. I'm so pleased to have listened to your videos. I enjoy walking and wanted to known how long I should wait after a meal before going for a walk. I do about 5km daily. I also do HIT and am thrilled that in my ignorance, I was doing it correctly ❤

I found this particular diet regime to generally be motivational. I should have worked on me mainly because I find myself I possess a great deal of energy day to day and also have shed 8 lbs on my weight within the past month. It tells you just what you require and points out almost everything in more detail.

Hey Dr. Sten, would you make a video on what you eat and drink in a day? Thank you!!!! Great video!! xo

Thanks for this great video. 1) How fast you can see results following these instructions? 2) For vegetarians, tofu and beans are OK or they are high in carbs? 3) For more than 1 day fasting, taking electrolyte drinks is OK?

Dear Dr. Ribéry. I Hope that will note this remark and will be ready to comment. I started the keto diet completely eliminating any carbohydrate and sugars and after a 36 hours fasting I started to observe a jetons increase from 0.2 to 4 milimoles, liters. My glucose concentration wax stabilized at 80-90 mg/deciliter. I was positively surprised and felt great! This considering my being a 2 diabetic with A1 C value of above 6.5. Hovered i started to worry when my ketone concentration started to climb in a matter of a few days to 4.5, than 6, then to 7.5 and finally to 8.1. I felt unsafe and decided to add carbohydrate and suggar to my diet. Please let me know what I am doing wrong!!!😊

Thanks you for your incomparable teachings Dr. Sten. You've completely changed my diet's perception. I am a severe asthmatic person. Now I'd diminished my maintenance on my asthma treatment and hopefully completely stop it. Thank you. God bless you.
