That's not irony. Somebody playing something old that other people no longer play isn't ironic at all. That's like saying "Man, it sure is ironic that you constantly wear bell-bottom jeans, even though that style died forty years ago, and nobody else wears them anymore besides you." Irony would be something like a person who hasn't played the game in years being better than these runners who practice for hundreds of hours.

I don't think reverse would imply that it's a choke but on a difficult trick. Also if you fail a difficult trick numerous times it's still called a choke. I also wouldn't say a reverse choke is choking an incredible play either. A reverse choke would probably be when you choke but pull it back (aka clutch)

I know this comment is old but if you're on windows you can right click the volume icon on the taskbar, go to playback devices, open your default speakers, go to the enhancement tab, and on most computers there should be a "loudness equalization" option. I don't think I've gone a day on youtube without using that after I realized it was there.

However, using external cheat devices to alter the game and make it faster for you is not aloud. Please stop saying that glitches are cheating, you're taking all of the fun out of it. If you check the video, there are some people claiming that he put out a different gun than he had equipped, but from what I understand that’s just a meme. that's part of the problem, the 1/16 is the wrong assumption as there's a factor called the "flex drop" which increases the bomb drop rate by an extra 1/16th under certain conditions, making it a 1 in 8 instead here.

No, he was trying to defend his friend and deliberately taking things out of context to make him look less bad, just to fit his narrative for GDQ. He never stood up for white supremacy or the KKK personally. He was a flawed human being, yes, as we all are. He didn't deserve to live in misery and conclude his life by committing suicide. He introduced a lot of people to speedrunning (including myself) and was an inspiration to many. No, this does not erase his actions in life, but you don't have to be a dick to someone who ultimately felt as if they couldn't find happiness in their life.
