Good afternoon. Thank you for the video and information. Looking into a Seiko diver and stumbled across your video. What really caught my eye though, was the watch pictured in your thumbnail. It is a Seiko X Solar with what appears to be an hour hand outlined in yellow that matches the hour indicators. It also appears that the crown and bezel are both black. That is a beautiful watch, but I cannot find that color combination or style no matter what I search. Can you tell me the model number of that watch?

The Swiss were crying in the 1970s when the Japanese quartz invasion destroyed 80% of Swiss watch manufacturers. Even Omega went down thr tubes trying to lower prices and expanding and cheapened their watches, down to selling them in department stores. Omega came back in the 1990s by contracting their authorized dealerships, raising prices and making it much more exclusive. Only Rolex survived with their market intact, but took some bad hits. They almost canceled their Daytona as it wasn't moving at all. Some dealers resorted to giving nice discounts for a Daytona if you bought a Sub or GMT. Some were giving them them away as a gift if yiu bought a gold day date with president bracelet. So the Swiss had their bloodbath by the Japanese quartz invasion.
