The CSV-9s have been available for a good few years here in Czech Republic already. It's usually the less expensive/cheaper alternative to the Scorpion EVO around here.

It's definitely superior to the MP5 from a practical standpoint. Much lighter, much better ergos, and the trigger is going to be about 10 million times better. The MP5 is definitely cooler, and if it floats your boat, cool, but don't act like the MP5 is just as practical. I genuinely don't understand how it's "ridiculous". Isn't it "ridiculous" to pay that much for a clone of a design that's half a century old? But the same price for a more modern design that uses the exact same operating system is "ridiculous". Lol. Bracing for the "I can buy a direct blowback PCC for $800".

True but keep in mind price isn’t always just about performance. For us normal working guys yeah the prices are a bit ridiculous but say you’re a millionaire and you think the $3,000 gun is cooler than the $500 gun. It would be like for us do you want this ok gun for fifty cents or this really cool one for 3 dollars? Kinda like when people talk about how corvettes perform as well as Ferrari’s for a third the price. Yeah they do but for the people that can afford them the price difference is irrelevant so if they like the Ferrari more that’s what they will get

@@brettb5089 Except there are cooler and arguably better offerings already available for the same price and several are for less. CMMG offers a recoil delay system at 1500 or bellow with all the upgraded features you expect from a AR pattern system. The Sig MPX platform gives you a better system and the ability to use a folding stock for 1500. Stribog finally fixed their mags and they integrated a roller delay system for less than 700. If "Coolness" is what drives a person to spend extra cash, I guarantee that rich person won't be rich for very long. I'm not against spending a lot on a good firearm. But you have to be sure that the firearm is actually worth the price tag.

Yeah but I like the MP5 more and would pay more for it because of that. Kinda like how crazy expensive certain cars are without necessarily being better than cheaper ones. Not everything is 0-60 times or how fast a gun can reload ect. If they make people happy and they can afford it so be it

The PCC marketed isn't uncompetitive, it's saturated. There's some stocking issues, but that's impacting almost everything rn and it's also not that bad - you see the guns I listed around at least occasionally

Personally I opted for the Aero Precision EPC with the 8.3" barrel, all in I was at around $900. Aero Precision has always made great products. I did put a Velocity PCC trigger in it and it runs great.

Ehh these are neat and it’s always great to have more guns but the prices asked by most of these are insulting. If you are looking for a good PCC and you are on a budget (or in college like me), get a Sub 2000 or if you have some extra cash get the banshee in my opinion. At the price of the Angstad, it better have ZERO fit/finish and reliability issues which I honestly doubt it will.

I like and trust my extar ep9 better than my sub2k. And ive spent about $150+ on mcarbo for the keltec. The sub2k ill admit is more packable though, fits in a daypack.

Agreed, the one advantage of a true PCC is additional barrel length, turning the +P+ 9MM into 357 Sig ballistics adding 25 to 40 yards to functional range.

Once CMMG gets their Manufacturing ramped up they are going to sell a lot of piece parts, uppers and guns. Their lineup is roughly half the cost as some of these and arguably better performing. Just need a 40 round 9mm insert for mags 😎

I have such a hard time dropping real coin on a PCC. My carry gun and my comp gun are both >$1,500 and my main rifle set up costs >$3,000, so it's not like I have an issue paying for quality. When it comes down to paying that much for a PCC, I'd always rather get a legit rifle caliber. As a result, I stick to my uber poor Extar Ep9

When it comes to PCC (and PDW), I still don't understand how H&K doesn't realize the money they'd make with a SP7 in 9mm instead of 4.6 and kill the game...even a 5.7 SP7 would rock the market and make this caliber more popular leading other companies to release new guns. I heard second-hand that Germany has some pretty strict export laws for firearms. I don’t know how accurate it is, but that would surely have an impact on HKs abilities. That being said, I’d buy almost any chambering of an SP7. But in the meantime, Keltec has a poor mans MP7, the CMR30 that would be a fun sbr candidate

PCC's are great for states like Michigan where you can't carry a rifle in your vehicle unless its locked up with empty magazines and the ammo is in a separate locked area. With a valid CPL, you can have a PCC rolling around in your vehicle ready to rock because it is a pistol and your CPL allows you to conceal a pistol.

Keltec Sub- 2000, 550$ with two 31 round Glock mags. 3000 rounds of ammo, 1000$. Ext charging handle, red dot flip mount, red dot, 500$. Tuition for three separate two day PCC classes, 1200$ roughly. Dedication to training at home at least one time every two weeks, free. All this equals me burning down the course and shredding times in the PCC courses. I see people come in with their 2500$+ rigs. I don’t laugh or judge but I know I’ve invested that much and more into myself and know that my gun will go bang just like theirs.

@@tfbtv Cool. But you didn't have the comparison of the in between Carbine conversion things. Basically the plastic things that wrap a pistol. I would assume it' fixes the optics complaint you had. Just a question if it would change the recoil. Let's say this. My current collection is a sub compact every day carry PM40 a full size psitol p226 and an ar-10 my in the middle is in debate as to what it should really be. shotgun? Carbine? Pistol? The reality is what's the use case and it would be clearing a house. so idk. All 3 are good at that. so idk. I could buy all 3 and waste the money. but I like keeping it simple. Train with one and know it the best.

I’ve watched this video 2-3 times and I think this is my 4th time watching. I totally want that CSV and the BT. Only complaint is the lack of 45acp. My personal belief is if pistol calibers don’t go fast enough to defeat body armor or cause rifle like damage then it’s all about the size of the hole. I prefer 45acp even with the capacity limitations. I might be wrong but that’s my philosophy.

@@davidmilisock5200 theres nothing wrong with blowback. But its lazy and we have a million direct blowback PCC'S. Its about time manufacturers did innovative. Its like asking whats wrong with black powder rifles. I mean why would you not want something thats lighter, better recoil and easier to shoot faster? People always talk about how awesome a mp5 is to shoot but some of these others due it with modern controls and ergonomics.

@@ZChaosFactor I agree that delayed blow back has advantages, however I would not characterize blow back as lazy. It's just a different solution to the problem. While heavier and having more felt fecoil, fixed barrels tend to be more accurate. The manufacturing is less expensive not lesser quality, nor less durable. I don't own any PCCs but people need affordable and reliable PCCs, not everyone's as fortunate as I am.

@@davidmilisock5200 direct blowback has its time and place. But the market is saturated with direct blowback and its about time manufacturers did something innovative instead of releasing a new direct blowback pcc. Direct blowback is the lazy answer for manufacturers.

@@ZChaosFactor I'm fairly sure the Kriss design wasn't lazy. The reviewed PCCs have not brought any real tactical advantage to the user. Yes they all do bells and whistles well but so what. I have nothing against expensive firearms hell I own several and admit to $3,000 revolvers but what the PCC user really needs is reliable, durable and cost effective. These reviewed PCCs for the most pare for the elitist that have lots of money and spend there time on the range. Not for average Jane and Joe who may need it for urban combat. I can tell from what I've seen I'm not rushing to get rid of my M1A1 Carbine.

I'd rather Ruger make that with their own magazines, I'm thinking like their original 44 Carbine but with the 4-round rotary magazines from their Model 77/44 bolt-action carbine. Then make a curved, extended magazine like their BTX 25 for the 10/22. [Edit] There are a lot of those 77/44's converted to integrally-suppressed out there in Afghanistan.

I'm really interested in the B&T guns and suppressors. I like that they don't snub the civilians in the US like other companies Glock(yes Glock sell to us civis but they absolutely REFUSE to listen to their customer base...unless the customer is a government agency or Hk who essentially do the same thing. Honestly, there are tons of other gun companies like that. Those two just jumped to mind, Hk mainly because of their twitter account.

I love the PCC stuff but you might as well SBR your AR and throw a can on it for that price. Even the brace/chassis options are cheaper too. Cool stuff but that price make me go yikes. *Sips redditor juice*

One of my personal favorite PCC's is the Keltec Sub2000. In stock form they are kinda trash (terrible trigger and some internal parts of questionable durability), but they function reliably if you use quality magazines. With the full slate of MCarbo upgrades they are pretty damn good. And you can buy one already fully upgraded by MCarbo for less than the cost of buying the gun + parts and doing it yourself.
