Glad I stumbled onto this channel. In 2016 my right foot was amputated. First year and a half couldn't do much. I have poor circulation/ heart damage. Left leg swells a little all the time. Nobody gave any excercises for this. In 2018 I started walking the dog again. Always dealing with some type of leg and foot pain. It's nice having a new helpful resource. Thank You !

So glad you are here. During 2020 I had a herniated disc and by the time I finally got to the orthopedist for treatment, it was much improved by using your exercises. The call back to the doc two weeks later revealed quite an improvement. Doc said, "I'm not sure what you are doing, but keep doing it. I don't need to see you again. " Now, I am dealing with venous statis and the exercises you recommend are helping again. Kudos! I've also told my friends about this channel. Thanks for all your information and encouragement.

Physical Therapy was ordered by Surgeon 10 weeks after Surgery.. Many of the exercises featured on your Channel is what I learned by Physical Therapists (3) who came to my house twice weekly for 6 weeks.. I can also name two off the top of my head that I learned in PT school: foot and ankle pumping (point toes forward, point toes up) and Isometric Quads Contraction (both in long sitting on bed) for patients who can become deconditioned due to prolonged bed rest (in a hospital inpatient setting). And if you don’t have a peddler device at home, you can probably just march on the spot, whether sitting or standing.

I’ll be trying these exercises to help determine if the swelling is due to circulation or something else. Do I detect a little of the Minnesotan in your accents?
