I’m 100% OK with protecting pedestrians but they also need to protect themselves. Some of these people just walk into traffic like they don’t even care about their safety. Sometimes I’m more worried about them than they are about themselves.

Yes, that's true. Plus I see drivers being very careful. But, it just takes one second of inattention and a tragedy can happen.

It's not just pedestrians who can't see past cars parking right up to and sometimes a bit over the coner. If the vehicle is a large, truck, van, etc., other vehicles,, electric bikes, and motorcycles can't see either. Parking availability is a terrible problem here but this new law is a safety issue that has needed to be addressed for years.

I am glad for the sidewalk law because when I am making a turn and someone is parked way too close to the stop sign/intersection, in many cases, I cannot see oncoming traffic, pedestrians or bicyclists. I think improving visibility for drivers is a good thing

What a stupid sidewalk law. Too much guesstimate. And rather than police enforcing other laws against the super rich or dirt poor, they'll be on this one like flies to s***, targeting the already squeezed middle class because they can (barely) afford to pay the fines

Visitors for the parade be careful watch out for the Drug addicted Homeless Dangerous. Day lighting Laws? Idea enforce the laws on the Books Examples Public Drug use, illegal aliens crossing border, retail theft etc before adding more laws and fining the over taxed citizens?
