They were gobbling their heads off and the last two days they've been silent on the property that I hunt. Hopefully things will be better in the morning. Wish you luck.

I'm curious why you pull with the rod to pop the lure versus having the rod tip perpendicular so you can load up the rod on the hookset? If you are direct lining it (pointing your rod tip directly at the fish) there is no give.

Fishing season 2021 has opened here in Nova Scotia Canada on April 1 and it has been pissing rain for 2 days now and all the spots I fish are under a lot of water as the main river is a tidal river. The rain has cause the Shubenacadie River to overflow on to several roads and make it impossible to fish.
@markroper92693 жыл бұрын
We have all been there...it is rainy, or cold, why am I doing this?! Caught the biggest Rockfish(striper) in the mouth of the Corrotoman river on New Years Eve a few years ago. It was 20 Lbs. It was downpour raining until 10:00 AM. The skies opened up and it turned sunny and was almost 70. We were the only ones out there! Fish when others don't want to.....:) Good stuff bud!!

Wait until you hit a school of them the size of a football field and they're all 2 feet long. You'll need a wire leader and black terminal tackle because they smash anything shiny and often bite the line through at the swivel. You catch your bag limit quickly and get sore and tired shortly after that. That's what it's like fishing in the surf around south east Queensland during winter when the Tailor (bluefish ) run.
