I really don't like the show, as a fan of the books I abominate it with my whole heart. But Jaskiers music, especially this song is a great hit imo. Thank you for your also great perfomance of it! Enjoyed it very much and will certainly listen more often to it. Right now, for example 😁 edit: corrected wrong written word edit II: Would love to hear you play the music from the games, too.

I think entire the soundtrack for season 1 is incredible and captures the theme of the books well. Not the mention the incredible work and lyrics in Jaskier's musics wich are the only good part of season 2 to be honest. Still, I think that some of Jaskier's musics deserved the same or more attention than this one, like for example "Her Sweet Kiss" wich imo tells us the audience everything about how Jaskier's POV and opinions when it comes to Geralt, Yennerfer, the relationship between them and even how that relationship affects Jaskier and Geralt's relationships. The show had a great cast to begin with, great soundtrack, good visual effects, nice cinematography and camera shots, nice and unique choreography that we hadn't seen on a project like this since maybe the Star Wars prequel trilogy, etc. Even if they did not have the best first season because it lacked a lot of what made those individual stories in the books important, I would still argue that it was a great season overall and a good introduction to the characters and the world of the Witcher. They just had to expand on that and double down on the faithfullness to the source material and they could have had the perfect tv adaptation right there. Also, I would say that both critics and audiences were too harsh on the way they chose to do the different timelines at the same time. I think it was a good idea and well executed and trated the audience with respect since they thought everyone would pay enough attention to figure it out through the dialogues they threw around. Both audiences and critics just needed to pay attention. It seems like everything just needs to be "spoon fed" these days or blatantly explained for everyone to know.
