I'd absolutely love to see Lizardmen in Total War Warhammer. It's one of my favourite races of the boardgame, and I could easily imagine an expansion campaign for Total War Warhammer, something like "Invasion of Lustria" where the other races of The Old World make landfall in the western continent and explore the jungle, setting up outposts and investigating ancient temples. There could be infight between the invading races, like the English, French, Dutch and Spanish fought each other in America, and of course there'd be the opportunity to take over the empire of the Lizardmen.

The usual corrections:Regular skink units can be bolstered with the inclusion of a Kroxigor or two to add a bit of punch in melee.The most powerful Highl Elf mage once sensed a member of the youngest generation of Slann and was scared shitless by its power. (Though for the purpose of balance, the difference in power will likely be much closer in the game)I would say that Fateweaver would give Mazdamundi a run for his money as best spellcaster in the game. Names were pronounced just as badly as i say them :] as always great vid and can't wait untill the next one.

Lord Kroak would be the most awesome legendary lord to be able to add into the game. Probably more sensible to have Mazdamundi in there, though. If memory from my old codex, circa 2005, serves, then Mazdamundi was responsible for toppling a massive dwarven hold because he preferred a mountain in another location (or maybe that was Kroak).

I hope they have lizardmen as dlc. I'm not familiar with war hammer in the slightest but I've listened to a bunch of lore videos in order to learn more about it. I'm literally in love with the lizardmen. I played a war hammer mod for mount and blade and my 2 year old nephew was yelling in excitement "DINOSAURS!!!" I can't wait to see my nephews face when he sees them in total warhammer

I'd love to see some of the more feral Lizardmen species, such as the "Dread Saurian" which would probably equate to the dragon since its said in their lore that "they did battle with the forefathers of dragons" and the Slann mage priests are apparently known to shackle them to their will with magic.

In the current game there is a small island bordering Norsca. The name of this island is Albion. And the Lizardmen have a city in there. Once Part 2 is released, i expect to see a Lizardmen faction there.

the campaign map is most likely gonna be against the skaven because they can infect the spawning pools and anything that spawns from these pools are mutant things that needed to be killed by the lizardmen

You missed one of the key (fun) parts of the Lizardmen, in that you're getting the pronunciation wrong, because all of them are puns. All their characters/cities have joke names (Lord Kroak - Croak like a frog/Tehenhuian - two-in-one, who also use to be called Tini-huini/Xilicuncani - Chili con carne/Xhilipepa - Chili-pepper/Manquoxutni - Mango Chutney/Tiktaq'to - Tick-Tac-Toe, etc) or pop culture references (Kroq-Gar's mount Grymloq/Tiktaq'to''s Terradon Zwoop/Mazdamundi's Stegadon Zlaaq - Grimlock/Swoop/Slag from Transformers, the ancient city Gwakamol Crater - Guacamole or the Sentinels of Xeti - Reference's to the SETI radio telescopes). You also missed the true monster creatures of Lustria, the Thunder Lizards and the Dread Saurians. Thunder Lizards are pretty much Godzilla tier monsters that take Slaan magics to bind, since they can casually destroy entire cities simply by wandering through the area, and are even worse when provoked. Dread Saurians are the creatures that hunt Thunder Lizards and can casually put down Carnosaurs in a single bite, and the worse thing is that they can be enchanted with magic (as in, canon balls bounce off/they can turn ethereal/they cause magic to just stop working in an area around them). Also, one thing I would be neat is that the Lizardmen don't 'breed' exactly. Instead, they're spawned from a number of specific spawning pools that only exist inside their temple cities, limiting the amount of growth they can do, when they can build stuff and taking control of other regions. On the other hand, they can get specific blessings based on which ever Old One they invoke prior to the spawning gives them specific blessings in speed/strength/toughness/etc. However, if those pools are defiled (you lose a city basically) then no more will be created there.

I just thought I should mention that slann mage priest are able to cast magic through skink priest. Essentially increasing their magic coverage area. That way they don't have to get close to the enemy to send a fireball at their face.

what comes still mind are the facts that saurus are one of the most poverful figters in the warhammer lore. with their strength, toughnes, armour and multiple attaks even the basic warriors are nearly as good as chaos warriors and oldblood can kill even demon princes alone. carnosaurus are specially evolved to kill large creatures. meaning giants, monsters and especially most LL' mounts are their basic breakfast. and their special rule the cold blood making them all much better moral than their stats indicate. when slann nearby they are all near impossible to break. LD 10 with 2 lowest dices out of 3 is pretty easy.

I think it would be better if you had dual legendary heroes. So Mazdamundi and Gor-Rok, Kroq-gar and Lord Kroak, and then Tenehuain and Tetto'eko. Fits how the lizardmen really use combined arms, with slann giving over complete control to the saurus when it comes to warfare.

Tetto 'Eko would be a fantastic medium class mage character IMO. Tehenhauin and Mazdamundi would be great mages for sure and while the Slann would be fucking OP, I think Teh would be a fun choice with his penchant for beast magic and jungle swarms tactics. Chakax, Kroq Gar on a freaking carnosaur, and Gor Roq would be awesome melee characters.

Lord Kroak('s haunted mummy) Lord Mazdamundi Kroq Gar Tehenhauin are the most likely candidates for LL's I think... both Lord Kroak and Mazdamundi (and any other old Slann really) are super overpowered Lorewise, but were always toned down for the TT aswell they were still strong (and had ridiculous pointcosts) but never came close to their lore strength there either....

the Lizardmen have kind of a caste system... on the bottom its skinks, then saurus and Kroxigor, then slann. Its a religious/warrior cast system and since skinks are both the weakest and tend not to live nearly as long and the most numerous they are the defacto "slave" caste. Saurus and Kroxigor are near the same tier for there physical abilities, even though the kroxi's do help build temples its more of an honor, to build temples for their priests and gods. The only instance i can think of from the old lore of this not being the case is during the rare occasions where a skink developed some skill for magic which while it doesn't lift them completely from there caste it does tend to make saurus and kroxigor more likely to take them seriously. Slann of course barely notice them for obvious reasons.

Okay.... CA will not use Lord Kroak. That is like saying "Hey I have a great idea. That's make Slaanesh a playable character." No... I know that comparison is a bit much. But that tells you how bad ass this toad is. This would become a third game now doubt. The adding of a new continent and four new races Dark elves, Skaven, Tomb Kings and the Lizardmen of course.
