Amazing architecture. England as you remember from TV series, foggy, rainy, but so fantastically beautiful. Great work getting so good footage in these conditions😊

Ryka's was heaving at the weekend, as you said! The paint on Zig Zag Road is called Box Hill Road River and was created by artist Richard Long for the 2012 Olympics in London. I dont think Richard is a biker though! 😉

The road paint design on the slopes of Box Hill’s zig-zag road was commissioned for the London 2012 Olympics, the climb up to the top of Box Hill via the zig-zag road was part of the cycling road race course.

Hi just a bit off advice we want to go to Norway next year. It is the Wife’s 50th and we want to do something special. We have not done are Ireland trip yet and already planning next year. We are watching your trip to Norway and loving it. Which is the best month you would recommend to go to Norway heading up to the the Artic circle Thanks Andy + Jeanette 👍👍
@SeanandEmily5 ай бұрын
Hi Andy and Jeanette, so glad you are enjoying the Heading North Playlist (we really enjoyed this trip and making this series). We did our trip in September and got back the first week in October. We didn't want to go peak season as there are lots of camper vans and visitors but the later you leave it the more you risk the weather (also this was the only time slot we had available) . Apparently Locals said it was rainier than usual but after we got past the artic circle the weather was great! The trolls road is closed this year due to rock falls so good that you didn't go this year. I guess September is a good time of year but be sure to compare what others say and be prepared for weather 😊

What are you thinking about the quality of our road surfaces over here in 🇬🇧?
@SeanandEmily5 ай бұрын
Really depends on where we were. Roads that are obviously overused by cities and busy motorways were terrible -gigantic holes cracks etc .plenty of these around London and Manchester. We noticed Northern Scotland had great roads as did countryside Wales. Obviously we didn't ride everywhere but we found they were either great or terrible. In fairness the road network in the uk is gigantic and the amount of vehicles is high too - that said they are all paying road tax so where is the money going.

Hey there.. I need a bit of advise. I ride a bmw 1250gs pro and the windscreen causes a lot of wind buffeting on my helmet at speeds above 70 kmph .. do these enduro helmets help against the buffeting ? Mine is a Agv k3sv helmet
@SeanandEmily5 ай бұрын
Happy to give advice but we might not be the best to answer this question as we don’t really notice wind buffering. Being 6ft2 unless I want a gigantic screen I’m gna get wind blast plus not to obstruct the camera the screen is set to it’s lower position. Often it depends on how sheltered the road is that effects the wind blast. I would say the peaked helmets are not going to make you more aerodynamic and often catch the wind at high speeds. Hopefully someone else here might be able to help. 😎👍🏻
