@@osiris3yhn I have to disagree with you. I wake up at zero dark thirty to train. I don't have to drive to the gym and use their nasty ass shower to get ready for work. I also can blast my music and not have to wear air buds. I can yell, cuss, whatever the fuck I want. Best of all, I don't have to deal with people. The only downside is the gym has a lot of equipment when it comes to working legs, but I just improvise.

Rings are great - highly recommend them to anyone who's been thinking about it. You can use them for a lot, like he said. One of the main exercises I do is lowering them so they almost touch the ground and do pushups. It's harder than normal pushups and it forces you to use all the small stabilizing muscles. It can help prevent injury and make you stronger.

Yep. Best thing that came out of the gyms closing for COVID was me buying a set of those. Only downside is they obviously can't work your legs. Pistol squats that's it.

How do you “lower” them?
@hedley326
@hedley326 Жыл бұрын
@@DimitriTheBarbarian you fully extend the straps bud. They're just on adjustable cam buckles. Of course this is all dependent on the length of strap and height of what you're putting them on to, to determine if you can get them low enough to what you want. Does this make sense?

Spot on comment at the end about starting your day with a workout. I racked my brain for years on what I could do to be a better husband and father. After reading countless books and listening to several podcasts on the subjects it dawned on me that the days I started with a workout were the same ones I spent the rest of the day being the man I wanted to be for my family. It's a 100% mental health fix-all for me....also side note I introduced my CEO to your book "Extreme Ownership" and he made it a mandatory reading for all his leaders.

@ 3:27 - 100%. I'm a big advocate for early morning training/workout. If you can, I highly recommend it. Majority of my best sessions have been in the mornings. That's because I'm well rested and I have a clear mind, so I can focus solely on exercising. Whereas later in the day or evening, my energy level is lower, I'm thinking about work, school, etc, so I'm not focused, and I have to deal with a busy and crowded gym.
@maciejguzek3442
@maciejguzek3442 Жыл бұрын
until my late 20-ies, I had enough energy for a good workout even very late, also it didn't even actually matter if the whole day was long and busy. Around 30 yo I started taking naps after work because I noticed that if I didn't , my energy level was not enough for a vigorous workout in the evening. Around 35 I switched to early morning workouts (on my way to work) and agree with you that very early morning is best time for workouts. Not only because of energy levels, but also from point of view of whole construction of the day and the feeling of starting your day with a 'success', then you arrive to work and also have most things done in first 1-2 hours, so it's still early morning and you feel like you already achieved a LOT :)

I have a pair of adjustable dumbbells that go from 1.5kg-20kg. And a pullup bar attached to a doorframe. That's all I've been using for the last 20 years. When people see my physique and ask me how long I spend in a gym, I tell them I've never stepped foot in a gym and these are all I've been using. They say I'm lying! You really don't need much for a good workout. When I travel, I lift using furniture in the hotel room. Use what you can.

Find yourself a qualified / experienced sports therapist or personal trainer. Tendons can take up to 12 weeks to heal, so my advice is to rest the area of concern for approximately 4 weeks, whilst you undergo treatment. Avoid sugary foods & drinks, as it leads to more inflammation in the body, which you are trying to reduce. Use a swimming pool for rehabilitation (swimming & walking) in water is standard practice in early stage soft / connective tissue repair. Good luck sir 🙏⏰

I am 100% sure, that the best pullup bar is a stick connected to something IN THE MIDDLE of the bar. You have to balance your body while you do pullups. That movement alone activates all the small muscles and also develops your brain simultaneously. It is also cheap and easy to install. Just one hole, one anchor, one chain, and one pipe. Get a thick pipe too!
