Me watching video: you're using a metal screwdriver to help get that grommet through the firewall! You could tear the grommet or scratch the paint! Me in the shop: uses metal screwdriver to get ebrake cable grommets pushed through for rear disc conversion and also on my engine harness to ecu for my engine swap

Yeah, I was reluctant to reach for the screwdriver, but the damn thing just wouldn't go in! On the plus side I don't think I scratched it, and that paint will be hidden by the liner once everything is back together anyway 😊

Hey! I was just wondering what your mechanical experience was before you started this project? Had you played with engines etc before, or were you a total beginner?

I've done basic servicing and small jobs on every car I've owned, but this is the first project of this scale that I've ever tackled. I've always enjoyed taking things apart, and occasionally put them back together as well 😊
