Seeing the Oslo yard is interesting. When you think of the progression since the first passenger line called the trunk. Most lines before that were horse or oxen powered. The advancements are staggering. Through both world wars to exploding with advancements after world war two. Hats off to the engineers, construction people, electricians and those that funded the projects

Hello. In the summertime the trains is normalty fully booked. But most of the pax is traveling between Oslo and Bergen. Aslo Oslo/Myrdal/Voss and Bergen/Voss/Myrdal. There is traffic on other stations too but not on the same scale. Except Geilo in the winter seson.

Greetings from Wisconsin! Thank you so much for the great videos. I especially like the yard and washer trackage with overhead wire. I grew up in Michigan City, Indiana in the 50's and 60's where the South Shore RR shops and HQ were located. It is an electric line that is still in operation, including some street running. I'm old enough to remember the freight GE boxcabs and 800 class "Little Joes" as well as the 1926-vintage Pullman passenger MU cars. Many times I rode on the front platform next to the motorman. Please keep it up. Cheers.

I love train travel and your system in Norway appears to be top shelf. It's too bad that the US still views rail travel as some type of third world option. Watching these great vids i was wondering if you have to shift back to Oslo after you leave the train in Al because that would get you to a days work? I also notice that sometimes you drive from Bergen to Al and sometimes from Oslo and of course also vice versa.
